badgerx16 Posted Tuesday at 18:45 Posted Tuesday at 18:45 The Black Sabbath front man has died, his family have announced.
James G Posted Tuesday at 18:55 Posted Tuesday at 18:55 Ozzy was a legend. Single handedly, he's probably the biggest influence on rock music, the entire genre, since the inception of Black Sabbath 4
HedgeEnder Posted Tuesday at 19:42 Posted Tuesday at 19:42 Rock In Peace Ozzy. Absolute legend and a big part of my youth. Sad day.
Holmes_and_Watson Posted Tuesday at 19:57 Posted Tuesday at 19:57 It seemed like he'd go on forever. A rock legend.

A genuine icon of rock whose influence is immeasurable. 1

sadoldgit Posted Tuesday at 23:33 Posted Tuesday at 23:33 (edited) I was a big Sabbath fan in the early 70’s and had their first four albums. I finally got to see them live in the mid 70’s and they were poor but they certainly started a new genre in rock, “heavy metal.” Ozzy was not as gifted vocally as the likes of Robert Plant or Ian Gillan but he certainly had a personality that transcended just being the front man in a rock band, no doubt further promoted by his wife. Ozzy was a rock legend. He will probably be remembered for biting off the head of a bat or by those crazy family programmes, but his music will live on. Come 1974 I thought that heavy metal was dead. The fact that that music genre is still alive and flourishing is down in no small measure to Ozzy Osbourne’s career with both Black Sabbath and his own solo career. RIP Ozzy, Prince of Darkness Edited Tuesday at 23:35 by sadoldgit
Colinjb Posted Tuesday at 23:54 Posted Tuesday at 23:54 Without Ozzy the music I love wouldn't exist. Thank you.
Turkish Posted Wednesday at 01:25 Posted Wednesday at 01:25 One of musics great characters for sure. Not gonna pretend I was a big fan of Black Sabbath or heavy mental, however Paranoid is great song. I understand he played in England in the last few weeks and his death was no shock so fantastic he got to go out doing what he loved
Farmer Saint Posted Wednesday at 03:36 Posted Wednesday at 03:36 (edited) Rock in peace Iron Man, you were one of the greatest. So pleased he got to do his gig in Birmingham, he must have been holding on for that one. Edited Wednesday at 03:36 by Farmer Saint 1
