I'm getting bored waiting, its like the football why is it taking so long.

The issue is predominantly with SR, and i don't believe in chopping and changing managers Willy nilly but time is already running out for him. I don't fully blame Will but when he joined we were led to believe his favourite formation was 4231 and so far we've played 3CBs in a majority of games which doesn't suit us and I will never like it. I voted sack because sometimes that's what you need to do to change things but Will won't be sacked... yet, but we need to see some kind of learning curve against Preston. Drop the 3CBs and just go for it. Win against Preston and we should get some confidence. Lose and he's living on borrowed time.

I am usually one for sticking with a manager for a significant amount of games to give them a chance to get it right. 
 

Unlike Martin, Still doesn’t appear to be an egotistical nobhead so I think that he has bought him a bit more time with the fanbase  than his results deserve. 
 

We have a decent squad of players. Even after our poor start we’d be able to make the playoffs with a shrewd Championship operator in charge. 
 

I think we need to pull the plug.

Have you seen anything since the opening game of the season that makes you think that what he's doing is ever going to work? Do we look like we've improved at all? 

The answer is no. Therefore, he has to go and the sooner the better, otherwise we're going the same way as Luton Town. 

Saints have one of the most expensive squads in the league. There's nothing wrong with the quality of these players. They'd walk into any other squad in this league. Just look at how well Bree and Smallbone are doing since getting out. Look at how Azaz and Fellows look like shadows of their former selves. 

It's blatantly obvious where the issue lays. Just listen to his press conferences. You could repeat the one from before the Wrexham game every week and and you'd never know the difference. How can you expect players to be motivated by that?

The board need to act fast, but they won't because they're a bunch of fuckwits who should have never employed Still, Jones, Martin or Juric.

Substitutions should change the game in your favour rather than the opposition's. And shouldn't be just to give your bloated squad a sense of involvement.

In his favour though is the willingness to drop Stephens, Bazunu and THB. Though playing Edwards at right back, Armstrong up front on his own or Fellows as a wing back cancels that out.

We're just going into November and he doesn't know who his best team is.

The trouble is he isn't clever enough at all. Not the brightest spark we've had in that office.

For me there isn't even a glimmer of what could be under Still, I just don't see any reason not to gamble on a better manager getting a tune out of arguably a better squad then 2023/24

I voted sack, however it’s with a significant degree of trepidation. I don’t think Still is bad manager as such…he could do  the basic job, but he’s not capable of managing a club that’s in the turmoil SFC has been in for quite some time. Add to that that he’s not been given the tools to make a fist of decent job and it’s clear he’s onto a hiding to nothing. 

Now, is there a possibility that there’s a manager out there with the ability to take on the challenge? I’m not so sure there is - some of the candidates mentioned are laughable…they’d fail as quickly and spectacularly as Still has done. They’d probably soon work out that either they can’t trust back four to defend and/or find out that a ‘higher power’ stipulates that Jack fucking Stephens MUST feature in the matchday squad.

As it stands I sadly think there’s as much chance of us going down again as there is of us getting into the play-offs. SR are so incapable of making the right decisions at the right times, I really think we’re up the creek without a paddle.
