Attacking midfielder who plays for Espanyol

Right winger, fringe player for Espanol but has started a few games.

One goal and no assists - in the past this might have had alarm bells ringing but I think the club has credit in the bank at the moment

Seems like a top signing. He’s 2nd for offensive duel percentage and in the 82nd percentile for offensive duels won. Looks like Elynoussi level against the ball but in the 96th percentile for chances created amongst wingers in his division. All in all im buzzing about this one

Yup, agree... Larin being a case in point... Extremely underwhelming résumé before joining us, yet turned out decent (at this level at least)...

If he can use space as well as Elyounoussi, that would be great to have.

Matsuki isn't a winger; he's MUCH better centrally as competition for Azaz. We'd be better with Scienzas on both sides of the pitch and on last seasons performances Fellows ain't it. So trying to find another Scienza as a Fellows replacement is a good idea.

I don't think this guy in particular is a second Scienza, but I'm glad the club is looking to improve on Fellows. 

This view might be a bit harsh on Fellows who definitely has ability, but his production last season just wasn't good enough.

Agreed. We’ve never really replaced Elyounoussi with his incredible ability against the ball which perhaps explains our pathetic display in the 2024/25 English Premier League Soccerball Series

But we know we are going to look to sign Azaz competition this summer. I'd be giving fellows another go myself.

I don't think any of them said a deal was close. They just said Saints were interested.  Big difference between the two.

It's -4 points and potentially losing £200m for peeking at some training.

But as there's no rule against illegal cloning, it's just a £200k fine and some stern words in the British Medical Journal.

There's space on the pitch. And then there is negative space on the pitch. Unless you are the master of both, success will remain elusive.
