  1. Of the four things you’ve quoted here as making a difference, two are player changes. I’ll just about give you Fellows playing higher up but Scienza game last night was no different to normal. He’s at his most threatening being fed the ball wide and cutting inside. Same role he plays in both formations. If Bamford scored at the end or Scienza’s shot is deflected wide, I can assure you people would not be talking about how the formation made a massive difference.
  2. Christ you’ll be accused of being a laundry man with that sensible take. Go back to the Harry Enfield picture with the incorrect quote. That’s some of your best stuff.
  3. I’m someone different every single week to you 😂
  4. Morning all 👋 We had more shots and more shots on target on Saturday than last night. I thought we looked reasonable in both games. If you want to believe last night was all about a formation change then good for you. That’ll make you feel good until we lose with that formation at least. Then it’ll be something else (what happened to the experience chatter anyway?). I’m just going to carry on saying what I see which last night was a deflected goal go in and us not give away any silly goals. That’s the difference for me right now. Nice to see a different profile of striker too, which I’ve been calling for ages as well. Will be nice to transfer in a striker who is more reliable and a defender we know who can do what we did last night consistently (because none of you really believe Stephen’s in a back 4 is the thing we’ve been crying out for all this time). Also, I’m not sure 3 days of not posting then a response to all the little digs on the forum is the big comeback you guys think it is, but thanks for the welcome back anyway 😂
  5. Saints inexperienced managers this season currently 2-0 up against the sort of experienced proper football man we could do with. Ciao!
  6. I’ll stand by the above every single game. 👍
  7. Well except for the time he played and trained for them. But yeh not the case 😂
  8. I thought this place would have a bigger hissy fit over Mane than Ballard, that’s all. He’d have been much more useful this season. Anyway, as you say, non story and no big deal. Far too sensible approach.
  9. Funny for this thread to be bumped over some good performances in the league below us when there’s a young lad invigorating Wolves season in the one above who was in our U18’s for a period 2 years ago.
  10. That’s a wild response to a Paul Onuachu chat 😂 Anyway, to keep things on topic, he’d have been great for us, especially if you ignore the time he actually played for us and wasn’t great.
  11. If we’re writing off this season. (I’m not saying we should) then is giving Eckert the rest of the season to build up his experience not a worthwhile plan? If we’re not writing off this season then is bringing in a manger who last season couldn’t get much out of our best striker really a great plan?. (And I like Mowbray btw)
  12. Tbh, I can’t find it. There’s this podcast when House states someone is advising Dragan to go for more experience but doesn’t say who. I’m sure he or Blackmore have said Rasmus is their footballer advisor so maybe I’ve over assumed.
  13. Hell of a claim for a player who has done this twice (I think) in his career so far and not outside of Belgium.
  14. Wasn’t it widely considered that Rasmus was the advisor advising Solak not to appoint TE?
  15. Piroe is an interesting one because he plays in similar parts of the pitch as Armstrong which means he’ll drop deep and look to link play. I think we need a channel runner personally but he does have the traits to play that deep/link play that we like with the physical upgrades.
  16. Yes but they didn’t answer it did they. They just said they thought the reason of fitness and won’t help him win the game was bullshit and Alfie said himself he asked four times because he didn’t believe the manager but neither offered up what they believed to be the real reason behind his exclusion. That’s all I wondered. Wasn’t even meant to be a dig. I was curious 😂 But alas, I won’t ask the content creators about the content they created in the thread to promote the content again. Lesson learnt.
  17. I asked about the content of the podcast in the thread about the podcast, yes. 👍 Just as in the same way you noticed the query in a thread you didn’t start, I didn’t tag you in and didn’t call you anything so you never know.
  18. Again, that’ll be the point of the post. 👍
  19. Yes, that is why I asked in this thread seeing as they normally post the episode. The narrative from the coach is he's not fit. My eyes and everyone else's presumably can see that too. I don't really understand why it's a puzzle, so hopefully whoever posts the episode can respond. Or the typing guy who updates his blog can address it seeing as it was him who called it bullshit.
  20. Right, I heard all that, so why did they think he was left out then?
  21. That’s fair and it should do that job. I wish the club would be better at engaging with its supporters. The lack of clarity is naff and miles away from the weird tactical meetings it held a couple of years ago which even if cringe were at least trying.
  22. I don’t have a conspiracy theory. I believe he’s unfit and therefore of no use to the first team right now, because I’ve seen it with my eyes. It’s the grumpy typing fella and Alfie House suggesting that’s not true (or bullshit as one put it) and I want to know why, because they didn’t go into that detail.
  23. Well I was agreeing with you and even in fact suggesting you've undersold the 80% by 20% because I think you would find 100% of fans would be happy for SR to leave if you guaranteed them a better own. But the reality is it's not like that. You cant just push owners out and get new owners in, it's not employment. So that's where fans apathy to these kind of protests or demands come in because there's no tangible alternative being proposed.
  24. People on this podcast yesterday seemed to be suggesting the Romeu fitness issues told by TE were "bullshit". Do they care to explain why they really think he's being kept out of the team?
  25. It’s not about staying or leaving though in reality, is it? On paper would we love better owners/to be better run, I’d probably put that figure at 100% if you can guarantee the alternative is better, but the alternative is unknown. It’s not a choice between SR and someone else right now. The SR out clamour whilst is a wonderful sentiment, what’s the plan? They can’t just leave, you have to find a buyer and make it worth both sides time to do business. I always find ownership protests a bit odd for that reason. Understandable if the owner is refusing to budge etc but in this scenario what good do people expect to come from it? That’s on top of the fact that any form of protest that involves going to the ground, using their facilities and paying for a ticket is really not damaging at all.
