This is of course the crux of the panic.

Seems a reasonable set of "results" to prove the point that 39 points may be enough, which was the point being argued. At least as rational as Duckhunter's "what if these 18 results go against us" flaps from the last couple of weeks.
-
Nope, there are two sets of outcomes on the http://www.sportsclubstats.com/England/Premier.html site, one for 50/50 results (which I never quote), and the other, weighted predictions based on form, opponents and previous results. The latter says we are now 1.3% likely to go down. Wigan are at 48.5%. Norwich 28.1%, Newcastle 18.8%. Sunderland 7.2%. If there's any flaw with the probability on that site, it's that it may underrate the degree to which lower sides beat mid-tablers at the end of the season, but that's included in the calculations to an extent from previous end of season data. I notice also that Chelsea's result today has pushed Villa's likelihood of staying up out by 0.01%, this being because Villa have to play Chelsea who have improved their ranking by beating Man U and thus relatively reduced Villa's chances against them.

Anyway, yes I'm delighted, and yes it's bloody hilarious. And that'll be my last mention of the formerly bankrupt non-League team who will start next season in the same division as the Plucky Pompsters on an even footing. Until the fixtures come out, I suspect. Let's not forget they also have to play Dagenham & Redbridge.

Not to mention that he's nowhere near the first team either... and they would have sent him on loan to Lincoln in January if it hadn't been for Newport announcing it on Twitter before it was complete and Lincoln having a pop at them for unprofessionalism for announcing it when they hadn't completed the forms...
-
I'm just delighted at having the opportunity.
-
Should get the Golden Share quicker than they did, anyway. FWIW Newport have a £45.5m lottery winner on the board. Not that he invests.
-
Oi, let me at LEAST have today before reality hits home. Over twenty-five frigging years from the last League match against Rochdale until today's confirmation of Newport's return to Div 4. I already have a lot of FB friends asking if they can come along to see County at Fratton in the League next season.

Pretty much everything going our way so far, Wigan equaliser aside. Draws everywhere = good news, fewer points shared out.
-
Don't care who comes up, been to all of them before - would rather cheating Poyet's Brighton disappeared altogether than got into the Prem though.
-
Just as Clyne misses a sitter for Saints.
-
Wigan losing at the mo is much more important than anything happening at WHL.
-
Wiziwig outdid FirstRow for me for the Swansea game, couldn't get a first half stream from FirstRow and Wiziwig was right there. Could be fun tomorrow, going to see if I can get Spurs v Saints, West Brom v Wigan and maybe Norwich v Villa all at the same time. .

Even if he thinks we don't need any points he's hardly likely to say it, is he ? That's Redknapp levels of stupid unmotivation.
-
You can't blame centre backs for conceding goals when there's no pressure on the opposing midfield so they can pick a pass.
-
Makes sense, given that being reliant on a left-footer reduces the likelihood of finding one by a factor of about 10.
-
See what I mean ? He completely ballsed up any chance I had of being right by agreeing with me.
-
On the grounds that ART has a very tenuous grasp on reality, maybe ?
-
I'm so glad football365 also decided to transcribe the Press Conference comments I already typed in the post immediately above it, apart from completely failing to bother to listen to Brendan Rodgers' comments today which said the exact opposite of what 365 have reported.

Apart from the current kit having nearly as much grey (nothing to do with Switzerland) in it. This is the thing I was referring to in the Pointless Kit Speculation Thread, as apparently he's also decided that he doesn't like red or white, which suggests at least one of these points is flawed. I'd say they both were. We've had a mainly black away kit under Cortese's direction, as well as home kits which are predominantly red, a predominantly white, and two that have been mainly plain stripes with black as a third colour. I'd say that was enough variety to suggest he doesn't have a preference, though this season's crappy red is troubling, at least until the next striped kit.
-
I think he means "you'll" as in "you will", not "your" as in "belongs to you".
-
We need 0 points whether Spurs thrash us or not.
-
We're not playing for anything, what does it matter ?
-
The tv live stream factor will be very interesting too...

Got be be easier to get the ST and then get in touch with people who'd chuck you a few quid for it when you can't make it.
