  1. Given that much of the point of taking the free bus is that we don't want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere (i.e. the ground), taking us to the middle of nowhere 3 hours before the match starts and assuming people won't wander off to find food and or drink seems rather ill-advised.
  2. It's not a shame if you happen to want to go to both Israel and certain Arabic countries.
  3. You're not a Full Member so people can't (I don't think) - I believe SouthCitySi is looking for one and I'm happy to get him to the top of the queue.
  4. I also note with interest that you will need to provide photographic ID to collect Be'er Sheva tickets - and that whoever wrote this doesn't know the difference between "i.e." and "e.g.", because if it was "i.e. passport" as stated, they'd have actually said you need your passport, not just any photographic ID. What they mean is "e.g. passport", but any other photo ID (e.g. driving licence) is ok too.
  5. That's what I thought too, seeing as the bus leaves Tel Aviv 4½ hours before kick off... but they could actually do both. I'm vaguely amused that they've chosen to recommend a sports bar (Giggsi) in Be'er Sheva which is over an hour's walk from the ground and half way between the two main train stations, which are also nowhere near the ground.
  6. I can also recommend NOT googling "Tel Aviv Dolphinarium" if you're a little nervous about security.
  7. Kick off time is 2000 local time in Israel, 1800 BST, so yes. Unallocated seating (made necessary by their plans to provide coach travel and give tickets out there AND at the stadium [and no, no collection time at the stadium but there are only 300 of us in total so it won't exactly be onerous]). I'm looking forward to them having to cross reference two different lists of ticket collections to get their confirmation everyone has turned up... and also how they split the tickets so there are enough for people on the bus and at the ground, though I guess if we have 800 tickets for 300 people that won't be an issue. NO SEEDS OR NUT CRACKING.
  8. Info for Be'er Sheva is here in case anyone's link isn't working: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/documents/hapoel-be27er-sheva-information-for-saints-fans148-3322883.pdf
  9. There is no way of doing that, you're meant to have separate customer numbers for every purchase, and if you don't, presumably it falls into the hole of not being captured on the system against anyone. Also, number of aways will be calculated on one per person per away. They're REALLY inflexible, I went to Stoke and bought on the day in 2014/15, even still had my ticket and they wouldn't count it. Can't blame them for that.
  10. Under online purchase history and "Seat" for this game, so yeah, I think that's it.
  11. They took their left back off at half time (and comically replaced him with Kyle Naughton who switched from the right, but who has been consistently bloody awful for about 4 years in either full back position), so I'd be inclined to think they'd noticed we were getting a lot of success down that side. Then we got 3 crosses in within 2 minutes of the start of the second half, so I'm not sure "well into..." is accurate, they just didn't have anything to stop it. Bringing Montero on pushed us back, and we countered by adding a more defensive approach on that side to cut Montero's supply off and add defensive cover.
  12. Yeah, because repeatedly telling everyone that we, as the taxpayer, actively contributed to the cost of their stadium, that they are doing very well out of financially, makes whom look stupid exactly? So dense.
  13. Suppose it's possible, though given the increased allocation they can't complain they don't know how many we need...
  14. He sliced it off the side of his boot, but that's understandable with a keeper flying out at him, no amount of training can prepare you for the unexpected like that, professionals or not. Long hit the target with a decent shot while digging the ball out from behind him and with someone leaning on him, that was a decent effort - the left foot one was crap though, everything on his left has been guff since kick-off at Arsenal.
  15. As a long-time "shirter", the only time I'd even consider a half-and-half scarf as acceptable is for a European match against a side we are unlikely to play again. Even then they're overpriced crap, but they're at least worth marking with a souvenir, as opposed to the poxy Saints/Man U or Liverpool ones you can usually get which are just pointless junk for part-time fans.
  16. The "numbers" are just the consecutive order numbers which we're using to determine how many (approximately) have been sold. The club hasn't even sent Inter the list of people who've bought tickets yet (because they're still selling them), so there's no way Inter have assigned anyone a seat yet. Even then, depending on which tier we're in and whether we sell out the 8000+ tickets there may or may not be an insistence on sitting in your assigned seat in the ground itself.
  17. Based on that logic they're overdue a return to the statistical mean, so they'll go on a run of scoring lots goals from very few chances.
  18. Speak for yourself, I absolutely insist everyone wears replica shirts... especially to work and stuff.
  19. Lollery, your share is a share in the Trust matey, not in the club... and it'll effectively be worth absolutely nothing even in decision-making terms soon as the Trust has less than 50% control anyway. Which is probably just as well given the half-witted ideas he has for a club which has no capital. The training ground bit isn't a bad idea, except, well, if they had the space there for a training ground they'd have the space for a new ground... I'm still amused by the fact that when Portsmouth were in the Premier League their training facilities were exactly the same as my training facilities when playing for Southampton's University football team, and that basically consisted of "clean changing rooms and an astropitch" - though they did get to use the old cricket/hockey pitch too.
  20. They'll just claim the investors are fans, just like they did with the HNWs. Even that one who's a property investor...
  21. Christ, even Newport County's Trust have got more than that in the bank and they're skint.
  22. Should have booked Reed for a late tackle early on, still not sure about the penalty (particularly intrigued that we were allowed to have Long treated off the pitch ahead of the ball for the penalty), other than that, low key game with mostly low key incidents, though there were a few flying boots when we were defending near the end.
  23. She's on my team.
