  1. That looks exactly like the way we've been playing the diamond all season, tbh. As a narrow 4-3-3 with the point of the diamond playing in the middle almost up front.
  2. Mine's already been to the San Siro anyway but she's still going. She'll have also been to the Turner Stadium, Be'er Sheva by then too.
  3. Can't complain about Long managing to get a shot off under a challenge for the Hesketh goal, especially as the ball was fractionally behind him, the left foot trickler was a load of crap though and shows he's low on confidence involving anything on his left at the moment (Arsenal misses also). Austin's miss was more understandable as he had to miss the keeper right in front of him, but it was still poor.

Tadic also went out of his way to climb over people on the bench to congratulate him with a bit of a fist bump when Hesketh came off.

Ward-Prowse had one of his better games last night, also played Long in for the Hesketh goal. I wouldn't say there was much difference between their level of performance overall, just the nice story skewing the vote, Hesketh's physically no more first team ready than he was when he played against Burnley, it's whether you think we can sustain a lighter player (and indeed a lighter midfield overall) and how Boufal's arrival in the team will impact on his development. I was impressed with Harrison Reed not managing to get booked (though he should have been for one tackle) last night too... looked lively mostly without looking reckless for a change.
  6. Redmond went over to him and they had a bit of a smile about it once he realised we'd scored.
  7. Also, this is a married man speaking, "£44 a night for the two of them" just translates as "£44 a night".
  8. Waste of time doing that, the bus from outside the terminal goes direct to Milano Centrale station, costs 5 Euros and takes about the same time without needing to change to get on the train or faff about getting into Bergamo. The taxi to Bergamo city costs more than the entire bus trip. Just remember the square where you get dropped off for your return journey! http://www.terravision.eu/airport_transfer/bus-bergamo-airport-milan/
  9. Inter sold the bottom tier to students for 10 Euros for the Be'er Sheva game. Dunno if they're doing that for ours.
  10. Wow, you don't get this at all. Wednesday will be training kits.
  11. Fairly sure the description of 6 of them in single beds in a knocking shop was closer. I mean I could probably "beat it" by sleeping in the street and getting stupid timed flights, but why try?
  12. We're not getting close to that - I think 300 is far more likely. It is, after all, a Thursday night in Israel.
  13. Is your hotel £22 a night or have you forgotten to multiply the £66 cost by three nights?
  14. I can assure you that for most games in the Northam they don't even attempt to do this - though they did get as far as Row L on Sunday. I'm in Row S and haven't been asked to sit down at a match in over 2 years - they had different stewards in there on Sunday, which probably explains it.
  15. He is interesting with many possibilities.
  16. He was actively kicking the goalpost in frustration with his back turned to the goal when the ball went in. They showed it in detail on Football on 5's EFL Cup coverage last night. He was smiling soon after though. JWP's through ball to him was very nice, if possibly half an inch behind him.
  17. I picked Martina for my MoM, effective going forward and when needed to defend, but nothing's likely to overcome the emotional power of a weedy-looking kid slapping in a rebound and getting hugged by his mates whilst Shane Long kicks the post in annoyance, even if he didn't do much (nor need to do much) apart from that.
  18. Fairly sure he'll start.
  19. Yep, well reading between the lines you're a mentalist.
  20. I have been genuinely gobsmacked by the number of people saying something akin to "Astin scored must pick him evry game".
  21. They'll still need customer accounts so the tickets can be allocated to their numbers.
  22. They had a decent range of food at various temp vendors outside in the car park when I went (and beer, but I bet they can't sell that), whether that'll be the case near the away end I don't know. As I may have mentioned, there is a McDonald's near the Lotto Metro Line 1 stop though.
  23. You've done well to sit through enough of them to notice a trend.
  24. The other thing is that Inter will get all of the Saints details at the same time, and we won't have sent them the details yet because we've still got tickets left and haven't announced an "off sale" date, so basically there's no reason to differentiate between any of the tranches of eligibility.
