Maybe the wrong thread but we have just tied up a deal with a kids soccer school to have first refusal on its youngsters. We have paid a serious amount of money for a 14 year old centre half of which the proceeds go to Plymouth I believe as he was on their books. Aston Villa also wanted the deal with the school but we were chosen. Perhaps this 14 year old can be a ready made replacement for Lovren come August.

Move him on now and sign that costa Rican left back Diaz who does look quality and we would probably have money to burn.

Pirlo is some player with the ball at his feet, some of his passes are sublime and I don't think he gave the ball away until about the 75th minute when he clearly tired. We did okay going forward but a lot of our chances were from distance and Rooneys was a poor miss. I thought instead of bringing 3 midfield players on and sticking Rooney up top for the last 15 he should of given lambert a go to offer something a bit different. I would of thought if saints wanted Koeman and he wanted the job then the deal would of been done by now. It suggests to me that we are now trying to find an alternative and I personally do not like Magath. Don't know his capability as a manager but its something about the guy which I just don't like.
