The future of our club for the next ten years will be determined by how quickly we act over the next two weeks. Delay and hesitate and we’ll be fucked for years to come.
-
Any chance of getting Thomas Frank? Or are we a no go for anyone until there had been a clear out of the back room staff? Sack Tonda and get a decent name in quickly and we might keep one or two of the better players such as Azaz and Ross
-
The club, if you’re listening, need to reimburse as a minimum all of the ticket, travel and hotel costs to all fans for the two play off games.
-
Off to court we go
-
I would agree
-
Agree with that. The KC on the panel just shat himself when Pannick walked in. That’s his boss.
-
I’m with you SUN
-
He was once described as having a brain the size of a planet. And not Uranus before some wise crack chips in.
-
Lord Pannick KC. Fucking wow. We have gone right to the very top, I’m buoyed by that. He is the best of the best.
-
Lot of snobbery around this. I always add cream and garlic and my lot prefer it that way to the classic Italian recipe which you’ve given. Got more body.
-
Let’s pretend we are reinstated. How do the players now look at Tonda? Do they no longer respect him, treat him with mild suspicion or not give a shit and hang on every word because their bonuses are at stake?
-
Didn’t know Gordo was dead. Too much carbonara.
-
I think you will be proved to be right unfortunately.
-
So can we run this argument. The play offs are deemed a separate competition to the main season. The rules that we’ve breached don’t apply to the play offs and therefore there is no rule stopping us doing what we did on Boro. There is no strong evidence that we spied on Ipswich or Oxford in the 72 hours prior to the games.
-
I can make an exception or 10 in this case
-
If we have to go let’s take as many with us as possible. Let’s see how quickly the EFL deal with that.
-
Angry ex-employees - that’s what’s in it for them. Amazing how disgruntled ex-employees are prepared to do anything. I see it regularly. Especially if the EFL offered a reward with it.
-
But they have a duty to find out if it is.
-
If the EFL were serious about stopping this and dealing with the problem now they should be offering rewards to whistleblowers to come forward so that they can understand the extent of the problem. Software companies do this to stop piracy.
-
I have a feeling that this could be the next big chapter in this story - other clubs unveiled. There must be a high potential for other whistleblowers to come forward across the country who have information on their former employers and what they got up to. Absolutely no way are we the only club involved in this kind of act.
-
My guess is that the disproportionate point along with procedural unfairness i.e. the 14 days and then 24 hours for the appeal will form the basis for the appeal
-
Just pulling together my claim against the club should the appeal fail. One element relates to betting. I have a 6 fold acca I did a couple of weeks back which if it comes off will net me £700’ish. Arsenal to win the title, City to win the FACup, Villa to win the Europa, Palace the Conference, PSG the Champions League and Saints the Play Offs. If Saints don’t get back in my bet is fucked. If the others come in, should I sue Saints for a lost opportunity? I cannot be the only one with an open bet that includes Saints.
-
Can’t believe we haven’t sacked him yet today. Mentioned earlier how this would potentially help with an appeal.
