Lovren got death threats against his family after his performance against Spurs. What a nice collection of supporters. I wonder if he has considered moving his head to an alternative location. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/41818083

I was thinking something similar this weekend. Unfortunately I have seen no progress from the beginning of the season to the game against Brighton.
-
Agreed. The club surely would not entertain the thought of dealing with him and his agent after the manner of his departure, and its knock on affect with the VVD fiasco this summer. Koeman’s been found out at Everton. On another note, I wonder how long before Pellegrino gets the “you don’t know what you’re doing” chants when he makes his subs.

Gray looks absolutely ****ing fantastic.
-
Damn. Gray is terrorizing Everton. What an OG.
-
It’s early days but Leicester look good so far.
-
I am very unimpressed with the new manager, but the question remains who will we replace him with? We don’t nab managers off other teams. I think Nigel Adkins was the last. Leicester looking energetic, pacey and actually rather good, so far.

Embarrassing seems a bit strong to me. We’re average. That is all.
-
That was a bang average performance. Scored early on, sat back and made a poor side look decent.

FT: 1-1

Well done in the middle of the park by Hoj.
-
commentators steered me wrong...it’s JWP,and Cedric off for Long and Hoj
-
Long coming on for Tadic.
-
Redmond does seem to know how to find Gabbi, though.
-
Pellegrino clearly sees Boufal and Redmond as two players fighting over one wide left position. I think that Pellegrino has it wrong.
-
I thought that Boufal was the best of a tepid bunch.
-
Redmond will be coming on for Boufal according to the commentators.
-
********. Hint of handball in the buildup.
-
Great free kick from JWP and Davis shows composure with the header.
-
Davis!!!!

I’m pretty sure that Pellegrino just said in his pre-match comments that Austin is injured.

It’s a big loss not having Lemina. It’s been a real treat watching him play so far this season. I’d leave Romeu on his own in front of the defenders rather than putting him in a tandem with a Lemina replacement. Do we really need two defensive midfielders against Brighton? I expect this to be one of those games where we maintain possession while the home team sits back and makes chances on the break.

Souness has been talking on Sky about Dia: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5020399/Graeme-Souness-lifts-lid-bizarre-Ali-Dia-signing.html

Good luck to him. I ‘m not convinced that he will be able to win over a sceptical Leicester fan base.

From my perspective, Redmond has been noticeably poorer this season and has been especially poor defensively, such as the Crystal Palace match. That being said, I thought that he looked decent coming on as a sub against West Brom. The booing is really unfortunate and can’t be helping his confidence. If it is a straight choice between Boufal and Redmond (I don’t think it is) I would pick Boufal. I’ve particularly liked the way he’s been getting stuck in defensively during his rare appearances on the pitch. I’d like to see him play in the middle, though.
