The WBA win has improved our away points ratio, which improves how the run in looks for possible points when we have 2 more games away than at home. With just 5 home games, 3 of which are to top 6 sides, we have to beat Stoke and Bournemouth to get us to 37 points. 37 points was the safety level in 8 out of the past 10 years.

May have saved the season. But 4 points from this and Brighton was the minimum required to stay up.

This is 1 of only 3 winnable home games left. Winning this only gives us a chance of staying up. Anything else, pushes us closer to relegation.

It made more sense to sort out deals prior to VVD deal being announced.

Last time I checked, a Club has only a 1 in 3 chance of bouncing back up the next season.
