After reading Corps post, i now know pompey players train in southampton, live in southampton and meet in hotels in southampton. they must only be here for the money not the joys of portsea island
-
he will bekissing the badge next. Saints fans like to see the talking on the pitch not in the press, we heard so much cr*p during the 2 relegation seasons about what players had to say
-
AS fans yes but uncle grant still does not get that you only stayed in the premier league by playing players you could not afford and even worst had no intention of paying for.

-
NOW BUT were not at beginning of season
-
Totally agree with the op, especially after we lose at home

THEY were clever on how they did it, but as soon as the ball went wide they changed shape, as if to say we do not think Hammond/Morgan can hurt us. They nearly came unstuck when Morgan hit the post but the plan basically worked with Lambert drifting out to the wings especially in second half where Puncheon disappeared
-
not posted until now,but imo with a bit of luck we could of won the game. Swindon had been well prepared and double teamed Puncheon and Lallana which really restricted our attacking play. On another day we could have been 2 up at half time but thats football

Were they not the New Baths with the Old Ones being along by Pirelli factory, near Lido. Learnt to swim at Old Baths, you had no choice because even the shallow end was deep

thing is the railway station could be built , problem is no likihood of any trains running to it

compared to which other stadiums with 50000 plus? the traffic from Old Trafford or Anfield is just as bad. i do not believe any area around southampton will offer better transport links than SMS, it benefits because people park in the city centre and then have options on how to leave the city
