How much is being offered for,VW?

I wasn't as impressed as others with Romeu in his first outing, but I have to admit he's looked neat and tidy in the last couple of games. He is never going to be as good as Morgan, but if we can get the right player alongside him, someone with the necessary pace to prevent us being killed on the break then he could be just fine.

Like a skate would do, he keeps his powder dry for an equaliser.

Decent first half even without the goal. Much better options and Tadic and Mane have offered that quality on the ball we have so,desperately needed. The game is all about quality of player and without our best players we look an average side. Get them into the team and we keep the ball and cause opponents problems. Still a long way to go, but good to see that some. Of these players have the balls to come back fighting despite confidence being a little low as a side.

Been saying it for I don't know how long, get Tadic on the left and he's far more of a threat. We are playing better. Just need a goal.

I know he's not flavour of the month on here, but IMO he's been our best player. Never hides, busy, keeps,the ball moving, works incredibly hard, good first touch, keeps the ball. Just his attacking passing that's not good enough, but I don't see anyone offering anything better.

Ever thought that the deal perhaps couldn't be concluded until Celtic had themselves concluded a deal for his replacement? The rediculous wagging of fingers at the saints management without any real understanding of what is going on behind the scenes dumbfounds me sometimes.

I'm with you on this. Gets far too much stick. In the odd game Without him leading the attack we have been terrible. Great focal point and He turns so many **** hoofs into something it's not true. He lost confidence last season and that was a real problem as Long isn't good enough to replace him in the loan striker role.

If VW isn't going to play lets get Reed into that central midfield area to help put some pressure on opponents. If Mane is unfit lets get Juanmi into the side too, playing in the hole. Get Tadic playing on the left and we might start creating some chances for Pelle.

well if we are relying the new `squad' players brought in to help guide is into domestic cup finals this season, then my advice would be to keep your powder dry on any investment in a Club Wembley ticket.

In the end all our problems relate to having not enough players of a high enough quality. Need to get some talent into that first eleven be it injured players returning or late transfers.

The only positive thing I can say is that the Sheffield United performance was worse.

It might not be the best time, but when Rodriguez is fit and back,to his best,assuming that happens,him and Pelle could be a very good partnership. Pelle, like Lambert, doesn't half know how to put his partner in. A couple of blinding passes and headed by Pelle, but JRod wasn't up to speed. Just sayin like.

The game a couple of season ago at SMS, Dembele dominated midfield and looked a very good player to me, not sure he has replicated that too often though, otherwise he'd be first choice every week. I actually like Mason and can see why MP selects him, but I'd of thought Demblele has waited long enough on the bench to want a move. Not sure he'd come here though. Wonder what his wages are like too.

Still hear them harp on about the 1-4 in our back yard despite the two division gap. Would take just as much pleasure out of beating them now as any other. For all those not wanting a derby game, I simply do not understand you. Best games by far, by miles. Nothing comes close to the atmosphere, excitement and a host of other emotions your simply don't get from a bog standard prem game.
