  1. About £700k a place

  3. Yeah, Jos not having much of a right foot is what ****ed me off most about yesterday too. Sigh.
  4. So MP has been telling people what's in his contract?
  5. Some who attended blame him for the goal. Seats are a long way back, but my guess is that it's preconceived opinions that led to them thinking it was a 6 foot 4 bearded swede that passed it straight to an opponent 30 yards from goal or dangled a leg at Gardner rather than Maya and Wanyama.
  6. Anything regarding a bonus in his contract should he win the fa cup? Just give your mate a call, maybe he can save time and just cut and paste the whole thing on here...sigh
  7. It's amazing how many people at football clubs seem to have access to employee contracts.

Can someone that has been to all games tell me in which he has played well? I also think some time in the championship might be good for him, but then again we'd need someone better in our squad to take his spot.

You are a brave soul coming to Jos' defence. Minds have been made up about him long ago to such a degree that some are even blaming him for the goal conceded yesterday. I'd be interested to see a list of 4th choice centre backs at other prem clubs to see exactly how weak we are in that position.
  10. Talk me through the goal and explain how Jos was to blame? Maya ****ed up with a dreadful pass in a dangerous area and Wanyama bottled a challenge, yet Jos gets the blame.
  11. We beat city last season and ran them ragged at times this at SMS. We also ran arsenal ragged at SMS recently. They might get drawn against each other....we might not face them until the final...
  12. You don't sound as though you made the 650 mile round trip yesterday or even watched the game live on tv. The whatever attitude of saints fans amazes me sometimes. I guess my passion for the fa cup might be misplaced these days.
  13. Lambert is very selective as to when he challenges for headers so as to not give away cheap free kicks. Sometimes when watching you want him to get in there, but when you, think about it, it makes total sense. Defensive Headers can go anywhere whilst free kicks are much more pin point, so best to not give them away if you can.
  14. Imagine if It had been Guly...
  15. This is a very good question, but for what gain? Will we be better prepared to win the cup next year? I don't see a steady rise into the top four, we will lose our best players, so when you have a chance to win a cup you have to take it. That 2003 side had bridge taken from it and look how quickly we went backwards.
  16. £180,000 for winning yesterday £360,000 for next round £900,000 for the semi £1,800,000 for winning it. Add to that the tv money for the 6th round of £247,000. No tv money for semi and final I don't think. Plus half the gate money for the 6th round. Possibly extra sponsorship money and merchandise revenue, not to mentioned potential increased season ticket revenue for the following season on that back of a feel good factor. Add that up and you get a lot more than the £2.2m difference between 10th and 7th. You have to win it mind you.
  17. Maya gives the ball away in a terrible area and Wanyama dangles a leg at Gardner. Both equally culpable, but seeing as Wanyama s game is all about strength and tackling, if he doesn't show that what is left?
  18. I want the fa cup win and I want the Europa cup games. Nothing compares to a fa cup, semi, a fa cup final and a trip abroad with saints.
  19. What happened to the money given to the club to dish out to fans in some way? With the tv money and this money fans should have been given free travel anyway.
  20. Answers on a post card, but they will be hard pushed to get me to buy a ticket for an early round next year knowing full well that they aren't fussed about actually winning it. Reap what you sow.
  21. I also could not agree with Scally. If Pochetino had stated before the game it would be a full strength side, no one would be rested there would have been a few more saints at the game, but fans have become wise to the clubs apathy for the cup competitions. Very disappointing.
  22. You must be pleased with the large number of ****ed off fans on here suggesting that as a fan base we do have ambition?
  23. Who cares, I get the chance of another Bucharest style saints trip and that would be amazing. Life time memories right there.

    Maya Yoshida

that is one opinion, but not one I agree with. Our failings were throughout the side not just in goal and at centre back. Boruc kicking has been poor in recent times, just like Davis. I didn't think Jos distribution was that bad at all. Maya overall passed OK, obviously the goal was his partly his fault and down to a bad pass, but I didn't see the two giving the ball away time after time. I would look the number of poor passes from midfielders, Davis was especially poor in the first half, the lack of movement from midfielders, Wanyama doesn't make himself available anywhere near enough and the lack of penetration from the like of Clyne and Guly. Lallana was poor in the second half and Prowse never dominates a game and this was no different. Far too easy to blame Davis, Jos and Maya.
  25. 58 games and then 70 games for Mata in the previous two seasons.
