I am pretty sure the ST money is ring fenced and can not be used to pay the administrator.

As I have said previously I have nothing but respect for their (PST) efforts to save their club, but when I saw this all I could see was a carry on film title. I can see it now, one of those by the pier versions with Babbs and Sid Jams laughing...at them

do clubs not have to show they can fulfil their fixtures? How have PFC been able to do this?
-
Mudie. Total ****wit that gets used as a mouthpiece by potential owners, but is far too dumb to realise it.
-
fair play to them, it's a ****ing long drive for a midweek game
-
I do hope Wotton is kicking lumps out of them.

Excited. Pure and simple. No fear whatsoever. So long as Fonte adjusts his game a fraction, in terms of when and when not to dive in, he will be fine. So long as we keep the ball like we did at the start of last season, we as a side will also be fine.

£38 for them

he made a mistake or two in a televised game.

is Richard Dunne the proven prem sort that some are calling for? -
are we playing Rodriguez wide left just to make sure he gets game time so we have several strikers all match fit? The fact Phillips is being targeted suggests we are looking for a left winger and surely Lallana would be a better option?
-
let me just chip in that he was excellent in the Ajax game

unusual that Adkins actually talks about a specific player. Another good young talent. -
Uninspiring, unprofessional and indecisive...

Pre season friendlies are a total waste of time. I never bother with them and quite clearly I'm not along. Doesn't mean there is an issue or or a loss in confidence from fans. Give it a week and Saints will be back in my life once more and no doubt everyone else's too. The change in formation is scary, but 4-3-3 is the way to go. -
I wouldn't be surprised. Those prices are ridiculous considering its on the box.
-
Steven Davis doesn't quite fit that description. Not sure he's any good mind. Out of interest would you prefer Phillips from Blackpool or Jarvis from Wolves? How about Steven Fletcher or Jay Rodriguez? Clyne or Tony Hibbert? Craig Gordan or Paolo Gazzaniga?

three. Many Saints fans weren't impressed, but I was. We kicked the **** out of him at SMS and double teamed him at their place - that's how much of a threat we thought he was. Despite this attention he still managed to break the shackles as least once beating Fox all ends up and getting in a great cross in that should have been tucked away. He has that strength and pace and a trick to create the chance. You need something a little out of the ordinary to score goals in the Prem. Also saw the manure and cardiff games on the box. He was excellent in both of those. In the end Cardiff had to put three players on him AND kick the **** out of him. He was outstanding in that game. Having said that he doesn't feel like an Adkins type of player to me, so I doubt he'll come here. -
er, McLoughlin came from Swindon and was utter **** so we palmed him of to the fish ****ers down the road. Saints reject.

Absolute disgrace the way Cook was treated. I hope every last one of those selectors are gone by the time the next Olympics comes round. Cook must now dedicate himself even more in an attempt to show the world he should have been selected and what we missed in 2012. As for Muhhammed, he was tremendous and a real credit to his sport.

listen to this fella, our premiership survival is hanging by a ****ing thread I tell you...

not so much a guess more common sense. If a player has an agent why wouldn't you call him and ask him if his player might be interested in a move and ballpark wages? Besides the article confirms this is exactly what we do (if this paper is as believable as Nixon's) so whatever Nixon has said in the past pretty much means nothing. In the end what does it matter, all that matters is whether we get the player and whether he can do it at the top level. He was their stand out player in the FA cup a few seasons back. Strong and pacey. Ideal for our needs. Concerned about his late season loss of form mind.
-
like they did against Swansea on the opening day of last season. Swansea's back four turned out to be ****e as well, they were relegated in March too... ****ing defeatism on here is painful. Fonte is not ****, nor is Richardson. World beaters? No. But steady enough. I'd be much more concerned with whether we have enough pace and goals up front.
-
He didn't look threatening in the Burnley 4-4-2 side when I saw him against us either. Someone put my mind at rest and tell me this lad is pure class as his signing just got a meh from me and one average performance in a friendly against Ajax is not much for me to go on. Looking forward to seeing him for real
-
you mean we never contact agents and ask what wage their player wants? I don't believe that for a second. Nixon isn't going to start suggesting we tap up players. His source would dissappear off his radar.
-
strange, because personally I am very concerned we won't score enough goals. Fox, Hoover, Fonte and Clyne will do fine.
