I was agreeing with you that average crowds was a better indicator, but comparing ST sales doesn't do any harm. I think it if fair to say that if ST sales don't go up after a promotion then the pricing has probably been on the high side. ST sales are a good indicator of happiness of the masses. You point to it being an indicator of how many people can afford it, well yes, that's thepoint. Has the club put the prices up too much for NPC football. Average crowds will obviously indicate how well the club is done over the season but it will also show how many can afford to go each week.

Not seen Delfonso myself, but they weren't impressed at Burnley.

FM sure has got detailed these days if you have to communicate with stewards

someone make one up about a relatively young foreign striker, currently playing in Italy and we can spend the afternoon trying to work out who he might be.
-
do you mean they want some, but they want too many? If they didn't want any ST holder they could just get rid of them completely or make the price far less attractive compared to match by match tickets. Personally I think this idea that the football business doesn't want that lump sum up generated by STs is rubbish and just a concept put across last summer by a certain forever name changing poster now residing on the other forum.

its a much better indicator, but seeing as you have to wait 10 months for it there is no harm in comparing ST levels over the next month or so.

the term gutless appears to not have been used by anyone on here, so I want to add that into the mix as that was my biggest gripe about him. He showed absolutely no desire whatsoever other than to flash his shiny boots when he got the ball. The ability to stand and watch as an opponent goes for a dropping ball are not assets I want any of my players to display on a regular basis. If he is going to Spain then he is displaying similar levels of desire to actually be close to his family.

that picture shows the family centre after the chocolate boxes were knocked down and the new second tier part of the Milton had been built. All these pictures just make me wish we had stayed at the Dell. http://www.homesoffootball.co.uk/collection/search/southampton/1/934/ this one shows the same stand but viewing from the other side. Brilliant view from up there. My Dad used to take me to games in there during the mid 80s and would often embaress me by bellowing out orders to get stuck or such like, always during a quiet period, so everyone would turn, stare and chuckle. Fond memories.

or you could read that he can't because someone still thinks he is a crook here: http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/07/13/saab-antonov-idUSLDE76C0SS20110713

that article was the reason for my question about the Milton ever being an away end. The writer suggests it is an away end. Of all the away ends he could talk about he chooses a home end.

as part of the Keith Treacy deal?

can I ask was the Milton end ever an away end perhaps long before I was born?

as I said, "(again)" referring to Harding and Mills. But Harding hasn't been playing there for two years and he was released after indifferent spells at Leeds and Ipswich. So he might still have something to prove at that level. Yep he has played there, but we are looking for more than just average NPC players aren't we? If you're looking for OK then fine, but if you are looking for top 3 left backs in the league (as we are) then he has to shine, perhaps for the first time at that level. From the evidence of the last two years he can, but that little extra pace from attackers might make all the difference. As for Mills, I'm not sure he has set the world on fire at Donny. I have family that are regulars at the new Bellview and the term `alright' was often used whenever I asked about him. As with Harding obviously he can and has played at that level, but can he dominate attackers as Harding has done for two years? Obviously Dickson has to hold down a place before he can make his mark on the Championship. I'm confident he too can hold an end up. Let's see if he or any of them can really stand out as top NPC players.

a few players got injuries and they were all blamed on Pardew's methods. Obviously if a few players get injured this time round it will just be bad luck.
-
Trying not to pry too much, but do you think you will ever get a ST again? Also do you think you will buy tickets every now and then or do you think having given up your ST you will probably get out of the habit or not go hardly at all?
-
quality player, but if he is fit he won't be allowed to leave. They missed him big style last year. The only problem is finding a place to play him. Off Rickie perhaps, but because Ricky likes to drop so deep himself and doesn't have that natural instinct to get in the box I'm not sure it would work. Lambert needs a true striker next to him who plays on the should of defenders and also likes to get right in the mixer.

he was linked with the Cherries it says here http://www.bournemouth.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=246380 I don't remember reading that previously. I like the idea of him going out in loan again rather than us selling him. I like all three of our left backs in league 1 but this jump up a class might stretch them so seeing how they perform at that level (again) might be good before offloading one.

Pleat recommended McGoldrick (we saw him scouting him several times before they signed him) so he ought to keep his trap shut as he has been utter ****e for them since they effectively paid for Ricky to join us.

Forest chairman insisted on their wage bill being reduced, which was the main reason Earnshaw left as the contract offer cut his wage considerably. Not sure how they expect to pay Maynard's wage if they manage to snare him. Striker wise they did sign Robbie Findlay at the end of last season, they also have McLeary and Majewski who play out wide. McGoldrick hardly leads the line though does he? I hope we smash these guys as the brother in law tore me to pieces two xmas' ago after they stuffed us at SMS.

Tal Hiem back on the payroll http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/great-matches/ben_haim_cleared_to_play_as_pay_row_is_resolved_1_2855000

I renewed online, but it appears to be collection only. I bought a standard adult ticket no concessions.
-
pretty much no chance but Jordan Mutch CDAJFU
-
agreed. I can see Barnard or Lallana giving it the big one at **** park after they have both scored. A bridge-like celebration down the complete length of the South stand would go down in folk law. As to Vokes, what sort of player is he? I have chunky target man, no pace, can finish kind of guy in my mind. Someone put me straight.

Harding is clearly there and not in Nottingham, and he looks happy in that photo.

Just looking at the leading scorers in the NPC last season and Rodriguez from Burnley was right behind sharp. 21 year old. McGugan was right behind him scoring 13 from midfield. He's be a great signing if we had money to burn, but I can't see him leaving Forest at all unless he got a Prem offer or he fell out with McClaren.
