I like that a lot. Can I for just two seconds dream about these four staying with us till they all retire. OK, back to reality, what a great signing. Very happy with this, I hope he keeps improving and shines over the next few years.

Funny, I always thought I as a fan paying well over the odds to watch a game of football every other week was the mong. Perhaps these guys are the ones that have come to their senses. Football clubs better hope not too many do the same.
-
excellently put, but as has so often has been the case in recent times the club seems to think more about short term income than the happiness of fans that will help to generate income long term. Every little squeezing of the fans purse like this just ends up ****ing fans off and in the end when difficult decisions have to be made about time and spending it will be that little bit easier to let their support (and I mean paying for tickets) waver.

Skate mate says skates have bid a million. That's the rumour on the wrong side of Park Gate.
-
You seem to have enough reasons for not liking the guy, why do you continue to describe this as a fact when the video shows it isn't?

Kingsland in line with 6 yard box. Moving round closer to the Northam as soon as we are allowed.
-
fella two seats to the right of me spent all season doing it so that point will be about 5 minutes into the first game. Each to their own. I've had enough though and am moving seats.

out of interest where did you bump into him?

have the `club' not installed a premium rate call line yet for ticket? Shame on them. I thought they were running a business not a charity?
-
last wipping boy standing.

this is irrelevant. 30 minutes free parking and/or allowing those that have queued for a long period to buy tickets to get out for nothing would still enable genuine fans to not be fleeced and stop people leaving their car there all day. As has been posted above Lowe would have been strung up for treating fans like this. Having the word `Club' as part of the company name must breach the trade descriptions act surely?

poor old forecast is in for some stick this season.
-
maybe not, but then again look at how well high street shops are doing these days...

I just can't believe we are looking at that fat lump.

CHEERS. Looks like last year was very much a freak in terms of the success of the promoted teams and largely promotion leads either to one side making the play offs and the others struggling the following season. Lets hope we take the better of those two routes.
-
can you give any insight into the size of teams that didn't? I mean was it nearly always clubs the size of scunny that struggled and those with big budgets (Leeds, Man City etc) that faired well?
-
aha, they have raised the bar for promoted clubs, but promoted sides have often faired well. I wonder what the key is to keeping that momentum the existing players have created whilst at the same time improving the quality with new players. A great start must rank highly...which is worrying.

Warnock agreed to sign him two weeks ago for Premiership QPR (if you believe Barry Fry), but his owners withheld the chequebook. Brighton have a very rich Chairman (just spent £90 on the stadium) and are going places. Don't underestimate them. They were a very good side last year as the league showed and we saw first hand when they took us to pieces at SMS in the second half. Losing Bennet is a big loss, but I can see them beating a lot of Championship sides next season.
-
fair enough, but I get the feeling, and this is how I feel, that fans have seen Norwich go through the league so we half expect us to do the same and a 15th place finish will be seen as a failure. My expectations have risen hugely due to Norwich, Leeds and Millwall all fairing well, but really I should be thinking about how Forest barely survived on their first season up.
-
I realise it was a load of wedge, but I would have preferred CMS to the fat lad from Sheffield and the prices spouted sound similar. I think CMS is better than Barney. He would therefore have improved us IMO. Time to look at other potential strikers on the HCDAJFU thread.

very good question/point. The flip side of this though, is which players might expect to get in an NPC team of the year at the end of the season (impossible to say I know) as we are going to need players to not just compete but shine if we are to go well this season. I guess expectations come into play here. I think we all hope we challenge for top six, but do we expect to be there?
-
I know its not quite the same, but are you saying the same thing about QPR?
