  1. debt that has to be paid in at least 5 years time is still debt.
  2. you can add Lallana's new contract to that as well. Mind you we have got one or two big earners like Thomas off the bill as well.
  3. Championship clubs have to pay a 3% levy on all season and matchday ticket sales to The Football League. I assume League 1 clubs also pay a levy and this might be why we owe the FL £250k.
  4. I have a spare ticket. PM me.
  5. is the £14.6m in loans the amount Marcus paid for the club or is this loans to fund running costs on top?
  6. not at all, if you could get promoted (with his help) AND sell him in the summer for the same or perhaps even more you would be wise to sit tight for 5 months.
  7. I've a spare ticket if anyone needs one. Face value, obviously.
  8. I thought he was poor last night. I don't care that he scored (Lambert's ball was everything) and crossed to Barney for the goal (Lambert had done most of the hard work), he looked totally disinterested at times, didn't press, didn't track back, didn't follow runners, didn't get goal side, in fact he didn't look like he wanted to play right midfield one bit. He ws a weak link in the first half and if BWP had tucked away his chance early doors everyone would have been wondering where the **** was Guly when it came to the two on one against Richardson. He actually just stood around doing nothing for the first quarter of an hour in the second half. I watched him right in front of me doing the absolute bare minimum and I thought he should have been subbed. Only when moved into the middle did he wake up and look genuinely happy to work. I'm not doubting his ability, but he certainly didn't look the answer to our right midfield problem to me. I just want to add that I could not have been happier with the performance of the side or the other players last night. We were excellent last night.
  9. could not agree more. We will need a unit in the Championship and he's as good as any.
  10. perhaps he was just waiting for you to say, "don't worry about coming to the Saints I'm sure you'd much prefer the CL game"?
  11. after affects of a very, very big weekend in Hull

    Jack Stephens

I notice he was subbed at half time against Huddersfield and has not played since. I wonder if Pilkington took him to peices, or was he perhaps injured?
  13. Saw a Forrest game a couple of seasons ago and they kept five players up. Rasky strategy perhaps, but they were losing at the time and it caused all manor of problems for the attackers.

is he right of left sided?
  15. how?
  16. having played them recently they will know all about us and that might contribute to a tight game. I realise Butterfield has been playing well, but his lack of pace is still a concern for me as was shown with the second goal. Not for the first time in recent weeks a winger has had to do next to nothing to beat him. Hopefully Charlton did not notice. Chaplow has been so out of form its not true, but his forward running will inevitably tire opponents out even if he doesn't get on the end of things so I'm temped to keep him in the side. I notice everyone has picked Jaidi despite it being two games in just a few days. Impossible to drop him showing what a very good season he has had.
  17. we'll beat Brighton, but we won't catch them.
  18. Excellent signing. Very good player both going forward and defensively. He's such a game runner, constantly looking to overlap and get to the byeline. He lacks just a fraction of pace, but kind of like Bale he will just push it in front of him and test the fullback. Even if he can't beat him he works him hard, gets a corner and put opponents on the back foot. With a little luck he'd have scored several goals this season (one or two unbelievable saves denying him) and I bet my bottom dollar if they had gone in fans would rave about him on here. I'm not sure why people question his signing. He has matched Harding this season IMO, who IMO was the best left back in the league last season. So if he doesn't oust him from the side it doesn't mean he is poor. I actually rate Mills too, but the squad is stronger with Dickson in it. If Harding had got injured we would not have missed him at all. Given a long run in the side I think he would become a fans favourite.
  19. IMO do not pay the fine. Do not ignore the fine. Instead write an official letter accompanying the form you send back outlining the reasons for non payment. Provide as much detail as possible, times, dates, car park name, etc. Say how you saw the person from the council fixing them on your return. You might want to provide a reason for not getting the details of the maintenance officer - perhaps because by the time you had reached your car and saw the ticket he had completed the work and left. Perhaps say something along the lines of: `I imagine the council keeps a record of all maintenance performed and can colloborate this'. You might want to find the council department that handles maintenance and perhaps ask if they keep a record of work done. If you went to court you would clearly win using that evidence, unless someone from the council lies in court. They are not gong to do that and IMO they will not take this to court as it costs them money. They will cancel the fine. All IMO of course. Good luck. Don't pay just for the easy life. You are in the right. Fight it.
  20. Steve Baker. Not because I didn't rate him or like, just because I felt so sorry for him due to the stick he got after that Skate game.
  21. Derby away, play off semi. Unbelievable experience.
  22. where the hell has everyone gone?
  23. Since March 1st there has been a huge drop in traffic on the M27 West bound. Probably about 25% less although it feels like a lot more. Are the trains much busier?
  24. it must have taken a long time for the swelling to go down then - which is a bad sign - unless of course this is a second scan to see how the recovery is going.
  25. He signed a four year deal in the summer of 2008. Why on earth would we allow him to leave for free a year before the contract ends?
