  1. At home no one can touch us. Win on Tuesday and then lets see if we can get this away form sorted. Still smiling... Davis 7 - some very good kicks, next to nothing to do, again. Otsemibor 7 - didn't see how he got injured, was looking fine till then Jardi 10 - won everything. Brilliant. One poor long ball early doors and that was it. Fonte 7 - Beccio gave him a real tough time and he hoofed all day long, but nevertheless he had a very good game. Harding 8 Very strong, again. Embaressed by his face holding when pushed in the chest. Puncheon 10 tremendous game. So many tricks and skills. One very poor pass put us in trouble but other that immaculate. Lallana 7 much better game Hammond 7 Some decent passing but still too many hoofs when he had more time and slightly lucky to stay on the pitch. Morgan 9 Didn't out a foot wrong. Barnard 8 very busy and determined. The ball didn't stick quite so much in the second half though. Lambert 8 best game for a long while. Won a lot and passing much better. Thomas 8 Kept things very tight. Waigo 7 perfect sub, stretched them and linked well.
  2. I was right in line with the pen decision and a day later I still can't get my head round that decision. Its a pen or a goal. Where the **** does he find a free kick? I have to say though that Harding's face holding when Gradle pushed him to the floor was embaressing. I admit I was on the Kingsland side, but even from there it was obvious he didn't hurt him.
  3. you're not seriously trying to tell me that getting run ragged before hitting us on the break was all part of a master plan?
  4. I've a single ticket in block 10 of itchen for £15 if anyone fancies. PM me.
  5. can they put a side out without all the loans?

    Leeds pub

I said exactly the same thing when a mate of mine asked me today - a guy at his work had told him - and I was looking for confirmation.
  7. have Leeds fans been allocated the Varsity and `a other' pub on London Road? I usually have a drink in the Varsity so would be good to know in advance

    Leeds pub

Anyone know if its true that the Leeds fans are to be given the Varsity and one other on London Road?
  9. you forgot to add - and not playing Chucho. The only players they have are O'Hara and Piquionne. The rest are worth bobbins.
  10. I'd be surprised if the next sponsor wasn't Liebherr.
  11. I was at the game on Tuesday and let me tell you that they have no chance whatsoever of staying up. They were woeful. Harry Reekie's report on the BBC website flattered the skates massively - brum could easily have been 4 or 5 up.
  12. if Storrie had walked away they would still have cut the 85 other jobs.
  13. that and coming on to the pitch at half time against Sumderland to moan at the ref. What a guy. Harte was ten times the man Avram is. Never heard the guy moan one bit despite facing exactly the same issues as Grant.
  14. strictly speaking they didn't miss the deadline for applying for the UEFA license, it was more a case of being unable to provide accounts/financial figures to prove that they could fulfill the fixtures next season (should they gain entry) which are required, and as these are unavailable they simply could not, and did not apply for one. On a seperate note on Quay radio last night Wisey said that the administrator had revealed that the debt was £83m. Sorry if that has been posted elsewhere, but thats the first time I've heard a figure provided by Andriod.
  15. you'd think think at least a few of the world's greatest fansTM would stay to the end wouldn't you.
  16. there was plenty of goading and they reacted.
  17. really? That's classic. Have you a link to a news item so I can forward this to a few skates?
  18. anyone making light of what happened in Istanbul needs their head checked.
  19. a complete lack of class to add to the pathetic "your support is ****ing ****" chants, MC build up before the game, goal celebration music (thank god that was stopped)...meh, nothing is going to take the smile off my face today.

    Fonte

Agreed. I'm not so sure he is a cultured defender, but he certainly doesn't mind getting tight to strikers - more Svenson than Claus. The unit next to him make a big difference though. Has anyone seen jaidi lose a header this year? My player of the season so far although obviously Lambert will get it.
  21. what a fantastic choice. Connelly at the top of his game would get my vote. His display at Walsall before xmas was phenominal and thats what sticks in my mind. At ths moment in time though Barnard would have to start with Connelly getting his match fitness back (again) through sub appearances. Mind you Waigo might have somethign to say about that as he has been outstanding when he has come on up front in recent games.
  22. I have to say the three or four muppets shouting abuse at the three Huddersfield coaches as they went past on Northam Road need to have a word with themselves. Anyone that travels those sort of distances for a midweek game deserves some sort of respect. Children.
  23. liking this a lot. Lets close this thread down now and say no more about the lad shall we.
  24. Al-ex-oxlade-chamberlain (to chrissy marsden football genious)
