recently maybe, but he's been immense in many games throughout the season. Huddersfield away for example we could have been 5 down at half time if it wasn't for him. What about all the pens he's saved and the all games where he has made a crucial save to keep us level before we go on to get a result. Less action, but just as crucial to our league form IMO. Not seen a better keeper at this level.

he did. He isn't coming here. Why sign a new deal? The money we spend on a transfer fee coukld have gone straight into his pocket in wages. Players are sometimes stupid, but when it comes to money agents are not.
-
Liam Trotter currently on loan at Millwall from Ipswich is a better player IMO. If Millwall fail he might be bought from under their noses.
-
Bishops do (or certainly did until very recently) print their programme. I think I heard they owe them at least £40k.
-
I always feel a little sorry for the lad though as often he still looks fresh. Also its not just attackers that get tired, defenders do too - which he would benefit from if he stayed on. Connelly or Barnard though. What a choice that is.
-
he can run? Can he ****. Slow and one of the worst engines in football. He has a decent first touch and that's about it. We should have aimed higher even when had zero funds.
-
If Jaidi doesn't sign a new deal then we need another `unit'. Someone like Danny ****tu perhaps?
-
Are you talking about Stephen Dawson, if so that is great news. The only negative is that he is only 5'6". I assume you are talking about Craig rather than Stephen?

I think Harding pushes Lambert really close. Only the Bristol Rovers game was a poor one for him, the rest I marked him 8 out of 10. I certainly don't think you can say Lambert was as consistent, but then again its easier for defenders to be consistent than it is attackers. 1. Lambert 2. Harding 3. Jaidi 4. Fonte 5. Lallana 6. Kelvin 7. Morgan 8. Hammond 9. Antonio 10. Waigo 11. Connelly

that's the thing that does my head in. They actually paid a loan fee of £500,000 for Quincy and another £250,000 for O'Hara in January (never mind the wages for those two and Tosic and Rocha) when they must have had creditors begging for their money by then. Another thing I find strange is the amount of support/backing offered in the last few months by Gerald Vernon-Jackson, the leader of Portsmouth city council despite the fact PFC had during that period failed to pay their council tax.
-
but didn't we struggle after each of those three players left? Losing Morgan in the summer would be a serious problem.
-
Once again I'll suggest Stephen Dawson from Bury.
-
very good shout. He has looked very good in both games against them. Didn't realise he was on a free. I'd much rather we signed him than keep either Thomas or Perry on. Not sure if either will stay so we will need a CB if Lancashire leaves.

Wotton will play and we will win. The league cup defeats live long in the momory so I hope we take them to pieces. By the way Seaborne is totally left footed so playing him at right back is madness. Semi will play no matter what. After being skinned alive by pace against the skates AP will never again go for a slow full back IMO. Which is great. Hopefully he can find one with balls and who knows how to tackle.

spot on. However I never could get my head round the idea that wacking someone was worth a yellow but wacking them back equals a red. What's even more gauling is that Schneiderlin got a red for `raising his hands' at MK Dons (quashed I know) yet this fella only get a yellow for elbowing him in the head.

my brother inlaw is also a ST holder up there and he says exactly the same. Mind you he forged that opinion when watching him at our place. I thank him, and David Pleat for the £1.25m every time his name comes up.
-
is it not a case of a real debt figure has now been established whilst previously the £60m figure was just plucked out of the air by the press?
-
yeah but the way we ****ed all over Liverpool at Anfield that season will live long in the momory
-
pace, power and a few row z crosses. He is so Chicken George II and I absolute lov watching the fella in a Saints shirt. Sign him up.
-
I bigged him up massively before he joined us, having seen him play for Barnet a few years back and subsequently suggesting we sign him several times on the HCDAJFU threads. I simply could not understand why Plymouth didn't fancy him. Seven and a half games into his Saints career and that opinion had escalated along the lines of `Plymouth have gone bloody mad'. However, the next four and a half games explained exactly why they had let him go as he was bloody woeful. He appears to have improved over the last couple of games so let's hope those games constituted a blip in form rather a sign of what we might see in the future. The lad has great feet, decent control and the ability to beat a man - all very rare at this level. So I'm hopeful that he will prove to be a big success over the next couple of seasons and that will allow me to continue feeling smug that I picked him out as having great potential long before he signed here. Chez Souting Services Ltd available now.

the last rod used to beat the lad (no goals) has disapeared. What a gem we have.
-
Forster beat Seaborne in the air all day long and that worries me greatly. Seaborne is too nice. Lancashire-like. He needs to adopt a few of Jaidi's trates and start bullying these forwards. He need to get himself in the right position, the optimum position to win the header, and force the striker to climb or push him not the other way round.

why don't they just play every bloody round at Wembley...
