Yes. Quality player IMO. Miles better than Butterfield.

Not sure why people are looking at Harley to replace a central midfielder. He will replace Puncheon should we even be interested. As for it being a sign that Lallana is off I don't agree with that as we have one right midfielder in the squad so it is essential to recruit someone to back Alex up.
-
I've posted this before a few times but Jose Sameda. Absolutely perfect for us to fill that 4th central midfield berth.
-
has a figure ever been mentioned for Guly and I'm talking about the loan fee AND the transfer fee.
-
I recall seeing him in the live FA cup game a few years back and he looked a decent player, very much a natural goalscorer. Of course its quite a jump, but we've seen Austin and Boyd do it so who knows. I can't see us signing him. The thing with having money (in relative terms) is you can dispense with the need to gamble.
-
I'm sure I've read that he won't sign for another League 1 club.
-
could not agree with you more. Police inteligence, now there's a contradiction in terms, should know that there is almost never trouble when we go north of brum or to grounds with limited away capacity. It's when we get big London games with easy access to tickets and the opportunity to go on the lash that some of our fans behave poorly.

absolute madness. He has done a brilliant job there to turn that club around considering they have sold pretty much evey player with a value over the last 18 months. I am extremely surprised they are near the top this season, all done on a shoestring budget. Amazingly Parkinson got manager of the month in November. I can see them going backwards after this decision as the new manager won't get funds.
-
so you are saying that every game in the country will have had way too many old bill in attendance then?
-
as in Sky said we had signed but he hadn't. And the second part of the sentence relates to Guly just starting to show what he can do.
-
no, it's Saints fans that are banned from football grounds, not fans banned from SMS. Don't kid yourself that there are not thugs amoungst our support. There weren't too many there yesterday, if any, but the police presence was not down to numbers it was down to risk based on previous incidents of which there have been a few in recent times.
-
and then we have Mills improving every week so I'm told.
-
played at left midfield and did alright IMO putting in some bloody brilliant crosses that Hammond and other just failed to make the most of. I recall he got slated a little (as you do when the team loses) as a few of his mazy runs didn't end up with him beating the fullback, but in my mind it was easy to see he had it.
-
was injured, now needs to earn his place again. Only one injury from being on the bench so no wonder he is not out on loan.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/e/exeter_city/9337440.stm Exeter know how to boost a players valuation. We need a right midfielder, he looked classy, but lacking a yard of pace IMO. Prefer Pilkington but much easier to get obviously.

I can just about see myself in the footage of the first goal walking from the food bar in the corner, stuffing my face with a greasy burger before a rediculously mad celebration of Lallana's overhead is thankfully cut off as the camera follows Lallana to the right.

Liverpool offer him a five year deal, a million pound signing on fee and quadruple his wages. Chamberlain is even happier and goes North. This story won't go away. Enjoy every game he plays for us cos it will be damn hard to turn down a PL offer over the next 12 months.
-
Nice. Funny cos I actually love the players that give it the big one to opposing fans.
-
Jose Sameda is a player I have always liked. Its a very long season so a 4th central midfielder would be great. As Boycott always says imagine the game with 2 more wickets down and the same shoudl apply to lost central midfielders especially when we have this brilliant run in the FA Cup. The Old dear is getting married on Cup final day so my advice is have a bet on Saints to make the final this year!
-
Put out our best side. Absolutely love the FA Cup and would love to see us have another good run in it. We have a decent squad that can handle the two games. 13k sold so far by the way.

don't understand that comment. Dickson goes out to close Green who passes down the line with Hammond tracking that runner (Tomlin). Tomlin then turns back and leaves Hammond chasing a shadow. Dickson, having tracked their right back Doe, comes towards Tomlin and tries to intercept the pass back to Green who then sends in the cross for the goal.
-
I don't disagree with you, but I've yet to see anyone beat Dickson yet and some posters suggest he is not as good defensively. They are both bloody great defensively.

might **** up any bid we might have made for Sameda
