Bakayogo was the left back and also had a decent game against us at SMS. He's quite young and out of contract in the summer. The right back was Shaleum Logan, on loan from Man City. Very good prospect for them so can't see them selling him. I'd of thought they would loan him out to a CCC side next season.

he can play in the final if they win and collect a winners medial..possibly. Of course he wants the skates to win.
-
amazed you feel that was the case. He won probably 80% of all headers against Daily and the vast majority of those were nice glamces or flicks to another Saint.

yet another home win, boy do we take those for granted these days, but it was hard fought and we really grinded out the win - how we wish we couldhave done that in the past. Felt we deserved the result, but Davis certainly made some crucial saves. Very pleased. Davis 9 much more to do than usual. Semi 5 never tackles and now he is shown up as a bottler. Pace kept Sam quiet though. Fonte 10 Tremendous. Seaborne 5 worrying display as Forster beat him in the air a lot and sone flick ons nearly left us exposed. 1 header in 3 is not good enough. Harding 8 solid as always, very strong. Lallana 7 did not touch the ball in the first half - not his fault. Decent second half with some direct running. Hammond 8 very good display. I'd like to see him chest it down a bit more rather than weak headerd back to oponents. Morgan 7 better than last week but not quite back to his best. Puncheon 6 some good, some bad, thought he should have been subbed Antonio 7 having a very very good season. Brilliant goal and in general a great out. That terrible display against Tranmere is long gone. Lambert 9 Won almost everything in the air, giving Daily a torrid time. Best display for weeks. Barnard 7 worked hard as usual which was just what we needed. A proper fox in the box. Wotton only on for a minute or two.

massive bottler. His pace is all he has. Useful thing to have though.

as I understand it Kappa inhabit the ponds and rivers of Japan and have various features to aid them in this environment, such as webbed hands and feet. They are sometimes even said to smell like fish, and they can certainly swim like them. what a perfect fit.

just trying to be fair. I for one would object to paying £650 for a ST in two years time should the unthinkable happen and we get promoted twice. But as I said when it comes to a semi final, even one you expect to lose, I'd be there without fail.

good chance of 2000 spurs fans trying to get those tickets. Now, like them or loathe them, they (Spuds) really do have serious support.
-
we were 2-0 down at Preston only to come back to win 2-3 in November 2008
-
I was going to say the same name. What a terrible player for that level.
-
They had a problem earlier in the season where fans didn't bother trying to get tickets in these areas simply because they were not well publicised and people didn't know or expect them to be available. In recent times these areas are pretty much sold out and everywhere else is empty so ticket price does have a considerable bearing. That said a few skate mates and former season ticket holders just can't be bothered to get tickets these days. Once you are out of the habit (they stopped because the £650+ ST price was "beyond a joke") it is hard to start forking out again, especially when you tend to lose week in week out. Even so I still thought they'd get a semi final ticket. I mean they might win, you never know. How bad would you feel if you missed out? After a terrible season I'd lap up a game like this.

Orient tops my list. Absolutely fantastic atmosphere with the crowd almost getting us that 2-0 down 2-3 result every away fans craves. Colchester was the worst as I arrived 20 minutes late, saw **** all football, and it took hours to get away from the ground after. Wycombe pushes it close though witnessing zero football, crap atmosphere, luke warm burger and all.

if we are talking about inaccuracies, half of the Apollo stand (1500), both wings of the North stand (1000) and the family section as well (500???) - that's quite a few seats available cheaper than the quite ludicrous £38.
-
one half decent cross and some very poor marking don't add up to much of a performance in my book. He may have made the last touch thereby getting a fantasy football assist, but he didn't create the goal or anything else for that matter.

I didn't think we were quite as bad as people make out. A few wayward passes and the crowd seemed to show its frustration almost immediatley. An almost complete lack of patience from supporters when patience was exactly what was required both on and off the pitch. After a woeful start where we could have conceded three times, we dominated the game, without really creating too much. Orient were solid and got men behind the ball and that made it very difficult. It will come as no surprise that the four centre backs all had very good games and should explain why chances were at a premium. Yes the game wasn't a great spectacle, but once again we came from behind and scored the goals we needed. We all expected to win and that's probably why most of us left feeeling slightly deflated despite winning. Next week we don't expect to win, so if we do you can bet your bottom dollar that we are all smiling. Davis - 6 dropped one catch, solid kicking, but one or two poor throw outs. Not much to do. Otsemibor 5 His tremendous pace got us out of jail when we were caught on the break. But ten seconds later he shows minimal effort to stop a cross. Summed him up in a nutshell. Fast but that's about it. Oh I almost forgot he doesn't tackle. Jardi 1 Scowcroft beat him for the goal and twice more before getting injured Fonte 8 Another very good display. Very strong. Seaborne 7 given a very tough game by Scowcroft, who has taken us apart before. Just about held his own, although there appeared to be a lot of fouls against Scowcroft that went unpunished. Needs games and he will get them now. Let's see if he can improve. Good pace I might add. Harding 8 solid as ever and overlapped well in the first half. Lallana 7 Tremendous first goal and some nice touches here and there. I seem to recall a lot of people moaning in the summer about his lack of end product, well they got that today, but in actual fact it wasn't one of his best games. Absolute golden first touch for those that perhaps take it for granted. Hammond 8 Best game for ages despite there being a lot of long ball missing him out. Morgan 5 some wayward passes and not as good as before the injury. He usually needs a game or two to get back to his best after injury. Puncheon 4 woeful set pieces and overall he did very little excpet a lovely bit of skill right under APs nose - which probably kept him on the pitch. The second goal came from his cross but don't let that fool you, he didn't hurt them offensively. Should have been subbed IMO. New teachers pet? Barnard 6 first touch was top notch all day when collecting from throw ins etc and as always he worked hard. Should have done better with a close range header. Bit harsh to sub him. Lambert 6 some lovely passing, set up the goal with a back post header, but overall didn't win that much in the air and crowded out a fair bit. Wasn't impressed a couple of times when defending corners as he let his man go completely. Antonio 5 didn't seem quite as fast as normal. Not sure why he didn't come on for Puncheon as he was what we needed out wide. Wotton 6 as usual played very deep but this time it was a plan to stifle Scowcroft. Sort of worked.

you can Ade Adebola to that list.

don't worry about who didn't turn up, as long as you enjoyed it thats all that matters.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/portsmouth/8597922.stm so the skates managed to find £500,000 in January to loan Quincy, not to mention his wages (Qatar deal supposedly paying him £60k a week).

who will be far too busy cleaning the lenses of their bi-noc-u-lars to have time for singing.
-
those two plus Stephen Dawson from Bury to support the midfield, and a right back would be fine by me.
-
Good point. He seems to be in and out of the side, which is never easy. The other question is has AP played him out of position far too much. He is clearly much mroe effective up front than at right midfield. I personally felt he should haev got far more opportunities up front. Foreign players often come good in their second season. If he gets the chance I expect him to be better next season.

I hate seeing our players cheat. Fonte diving, or shall we say making the most from a poor tackle at MK Donns, Skacel sticking his arse out and then falling over near the corner flag to get us a cheap free kick, or Morgan taking a gentle knock only to hold his face and make a big deal out of it are all incidents that have annoyed me in recent times. If you are happy to overlook these incidents then I don't see how you can compain when someone cheats us in the same way.

According to Alpine we're 1st Class, or is that (embassy) number 1 in Old Gold money? I expect us to Win(field) most weeks as we're only ever beaten by a Lucky Strike, maybe by Carlton or Chesterfield?
-
slightly dissapointing, but those of us at the game will no doubt carry the cup final win enjoyment/enthusism into this game. A couple of wins back to back and the play off might look a possibility. If that is the case the fans will flood back to SMS for the remaining games. Lets hope so.
