dominated posession, never looked like scoring then Connelly places a perfectly weighted ball into Hardings path and wallop he's cracked it into the far top right hand corner. What a goal. The pen ws stick on and the guy was lucky not to get a red. Lambert score a long range screamer of a free kick and thats just about all that happened. Twp terrific goals dividing a very stagent game.

four day road trip visting the folks and seeing us destroy Leeds again at Elland Road
-
agreed, he - Shaleum Logan - is the best right back I've seen at SMS since Kyle Naughton. Tremendous player and this will be his only season in League 1. Not sure Man City will allow him to leave as he's highly rated by them. Its a season long loan at Tranmere.
-
Let me solve that for you: RB Shaleum Logan (Man City) CB Simon King (Gillingham), David McCracken (Wycombe) CM Kevin Nicholls (Luton), Stephen Dawson (Bury) SF Simeon Jackson (Gillingham) we also need cover for LM IMO. I can't think of one.
-
the same at their place that season when Pele totally destroyed them. On the whole though Leeds' support is pretty bloody good as we'll see later in the season
-
I agree. More than happy for Antonio to get more time as well. He is great to watch.
-
he created the goal, but Connelly was MOTM for me by miles and I never give MOTM to strikers. As for losing Murty I don't think it is a huge loss. He has failed to impress me. His performance on Saturday was appauling. We need a pacey full back IMO. We have more than enough `solid' defenders in Harding, Jardi, Perry...we need a classy, ball playing pacey fullback. Neil Eardley was the one we should have got but the bungled takeover put pay to that.

makes me laugh to think of all the fools on here over the last year or so telling me Lallana wasn't this or that. What a talent. I can't believe how lucky we have been to unearth yet another gem like this. I think I'll be even more gutted than I was when Bridge deserted us for Chelsea should Lallana leave in the summer. Enjoy every first touch, flick and step over as we won't see his like for a season or two (if he goes) that's for sure.

if the PFA team of the year was picked now, how many would make it? -
maybe thats why Primus has retired. He fancies an office job
-
my source was a skate who got the information from Pompey Online message board, information that was subsequently denied, apparently. This is worth five minutes of your time though: http://www.twohundredpercent.net/?p=4014

yes, they got a £1.8m loan (from where I don't know) to do though.

I was told this morning that their entire accounts department has been laid off, could this be perhaps in preperation for administration?

Plenty of room for improvement IMO. Right back is weak as **** for starters. IMO we need to cherry pick the very best from this league Mkandawire, Jose Samedo, Simon King (last season), Simeone Jackson, Nadjim Abdou, David McKracken have all impressed me or even league 2 Chris Dagnall, Stephen Dawson... -

I missed the Brighton game as I was travelling to Mexico at the time, and I kniow he had a bad game, but I understood he performed well in the next game, so why on earth do you not want him for the rest of the season as he has been terrific? I agree with your Perry opinion by the way. Far too small to play CB. -
40,204 according to away grounds website. I don't think there are (m)any seats lost due to segregation
-
you are wrong. When St James Park ST holders were told to move to allow corporates to have their seats there was uproar and some even took the club to court over their actions.
-
they pay their money they can choose to come or not if they want. I for one feel the club have treated fans that reside in the Itchen corner with contempt.

havign no direct replacement for Lambert is a worry. BT would be fit the bill perfectly. Not a chance unless we get promoted. -

I think that is the single most important thing we can do. -
pre Jardi/Trottman and post Jardi Trottman

enjoyable trip despite the arduous drive in the rain. Surprised how empty the ground was considering they were 7th but then again ours isn't exactly full either. I thought we were terrible at the start again - similar to how we started against Wycombe - but Connelly dragged us into the game with his his terrific running and sharpness up front. Even without the goal and assists I thought he was tremendous and am excited by our attacking options. The real negative for me was Murty and Perry. Murty had a terrible game, truly awful, I count 10 forward balls and 9 of them either went to an oponent or went straight out of play (some even out the ground) and nearly all of them were under no pressure at all. Perry had a decent game, but IMO we no longer look safe at set peices and we need Trottman back ASAP as Perry is a weak link in that area and Murty adds no extra height. Thank god Jardi improved as the game went on as even he was being beaten in the air at the start no matter what Pardew said about not losing headers. Once again very happy with Saints and can't wait for the next game. Bart 6 - nothing to do, some poor kicks (but pitch was not the greatest) but he just makes the defence nervous Murty 2 never tested by wideman but gave posession away all day long. Perry 7 solid display Jardi 8 he really is a man mountain. Harding 8 got done a couple of times in the first half but a very very solid display overall. Should have kicked Jones harder the little ****er. Morgan 9 Another top draw display. Some lovely cross field passes. Hammond 6 A little dissapointed, game passed him by. Yes he scored but he didn't really take the game by the scruff of the neck. James 7 solid display, an amazing half volley pass for the first goal. Kind of dissapointed not to have seen Antonio taking on the full back in the second half. Lallana 6 quite simply did not see any ball all day long. Not his fault at all. I am tempted to give him a 10 just for the piece of control in the second half when he brought a goal kick down from over his shoulder that even had Wotton clapping him from the touchline. Gifted. Lambert 7 looks tired to me. Needs a rest, but even tired he still links well with Connelly. Connelly 10 Tremendous game. Antonio 8 brilliant sub display stretching them fully. Wotton 5 one tackle and lots of slow doggies and sitting way too deep. Patterson not on long enough
-
I said it a long time ago that if Hart got the tin tack then we should get him to run our academy. Great swap deal Wotte for Hart if you ask me.
-
very interesting thought. Not sure how much I'd want them back. Surman yes, but the others?
