When you take quality ball players out of the side you end up with the total ****e we showed against Manure. As soon as he is fit he is stright back in for me. Quality player that should be in the middle not out wide.

is it just me or are these wages incredibly low considering the size of our losses in the last accounts? We were losing £1.2m a month last year. I expected John to be on close to £20k himself.

I agree with your comments about Gobern and Mills, but I'm not sure I can write off Lancashire just yet. An awful lot of centre backs get better with age and besides he has hardly had ten games in a run yet.

For me I'd like to see Patterson up the middle with BWP. Height and pace. With players like Holmes and Smith as our supply line I don't see too many chances though. Neither are anywhere near good enough. If Saga plays he will get my full support but if things don't work out you can bet it won't be his fault.

In short I don't rate him and I feel he is another player that has got better the longer he hasn't played. IMO he is another Scott Dobie - one season wonder. Despite what people tell me on here I don't think he works harder than BWP or any other striker, he doesn't hold the ball up well, in fact he gives it away cheaply and often. Add to that he's crap in the air, offers no pace, can't beat a man and offers little strength or physical presence. None of this matters if he scores goals but I don't think he will get them. What I do expect is to hear a lot of excuses on here about not being match fit, needing a run of games, needing a big man next to him, needing better service etc etc. I have gone out on a limb here especially as strikers, more than any of player, have the ability to stuff critical words back down the throats of oiks like me. I hope he does as I want the best for the side, but that is my opinion of Saga.

I have followed Deano since his days at Hull, but its a long way to come for a four month loan and with the few chances we create would he really improve us?

people keep saying the more we know the better but how does this (not really) new found knowledge help improve our current situation?
