  1. Feels unlikely the media team would launch a new kit on a Sunday (unless the date is somehow specifically relevant to the kit: June 26th I don't recall as being significant to the club) It's going to be a weekday, when the people that work in media/communications are actually at work.
  2. That's the Swiss Army Knife of conspiracy theories right there. Absolutely sensational. 👏 👏 👏
  3. I felt that he would slot beautifully into the role of "disappointingly anonymous Scandinavian midfielder who flatters to decieve and has the odd good game early on that his defenders then go on and on about for the subsequent three years of his contract." Oh, what might have been.
  4. There's only one man that could run that Ice Hockey team.
  5. Dermot O'Leary is famously a paid up member of the Deep State. I don't remember what he said to be honest, I was too busy saying what a shit guess it was. The previous person said Roy Hodgson as well. Hopeless. Universal suffrage is wasted on these people.
  6. What mob is that then? You seem to be part of a mob telling people that it is dangerous to not listen to what Matthew Le Tissier's opinion is. Why the fuck should anyone listen to him? People don't have to. Guess what, it's a free country. Ronald Reagan was Governor of California who later became President. Previous to that, which i have just learnt now, is he lead a Union (the actors Guild). So a fairly standard pathway for politicians in the US. You think Le Tissier is going to stand for elected office? Good luck with that.
  7. He's an ex footballer mate. No one is stopping him saying whatever shit he is coming out with. He has a bigger forum and access to people than the vast majority of the population. Not listening to him is not dangerous, its fine. His opinion is irrelevant.
  8. I am absolutely certain there is nothing remotely "dangerous" about not listening to Matthew Le Tissier's opinion on anything.
  9. Nice. Well done Dan, good job overall. Nice to have an actual fan in the chair now. Let's hope he reports on a successful season.
  10. I've had a look now, I see. Quite strange. Forest have a Premier League rival, it's Leicester. It was only a few months ago that Leicester fans went on the rampage in Nottingham following their FA Cup defeat. Smashing up pubs etc etc.
  11. I've not seen anything on Twitter but surely this is all one big dig from Forest at Leicester City? They are the spare part in the east Midlands triangle and I think Leicester hate Forest far more than Forest hate Leicester (think Bournemouth and us). So I guess this is Forest fans making out they don't care about Leicester. (They definitely do)
  12. Thanks for proving my point.
  13. Farage just a right wing Corbyn. Passionate fanbase but completely incapable of breaking free of the quarter of the population/electorate that worships him and think everything they do is wonderful. They have slavish followers who massively overplay how much affection their hero is percieved by the wider population and hugely overplays their contribution - Corbyn solved Northern Ireland, Farage single handedly invented the idea of leaving the EU. It's not an accident that the main Leave campaign wanted him nowhere near their campaign, and that's one of the big reasons it won. Keep Farage at a long arm's length and you might just win. And they were right.
  14. You'll have to remind me of all the players Liverpool have cashed in on in the last five years. Don't say Coutinho as he fits exactly the scenario I cover in my post above. Liverpool rejected offers and he went only when the player was very clear he wanted to leave. Literally the opposite of cashing in.
  15. I think the phrase "planned to" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. If Real came in with £100m and the player wants to go then it happens. Thats not quite the same as the club working to a buy-to-sell approach like we do.
  16. Probably nothing as it looks like he's being sold for the same as they bought him for, so there is no profit on the transfer. I think we've done fine on Mane add-ons anyway = he's played loads, scored loads and they've won everything. When you sell to Liverpool that's the main thing, Liverpool aren't signing players to sell on to someone else for more money later.
  17. Absolutely unacceptable in all situations. Dreadful.
  18. 400k for a 17 year old is quite a lot of money and not something we do often. It is the kind of thing Chelsea and City do often. You're making out like City plucked from playing Tyro League at the Sports Centre from right under our noses.

    Coronavirus

15% of the population will die. Just wait and see. Just the 10m funerals. Any day now.
  20. That is the fixture list of a relegated team.
  21. Manchester United away
  22. When Palace (I think was Palace, or was it Stoke?) bought young Jack Butland there was a mini meltdown on here that we should have been in for him as he was destined to be England's number one and we were guaranteed to quadruple our money on him. It didn't quite work out like that for Jack. Or Palace. Or was it Stoke. What we're doing here feels like a similar gamble. Or, for something more recent, like that time we bought Angus Gunn. Basically it might work. But it might not. Definitely not a sure thing.
  23. You need to get used to DT, just the normal transfer window routine. Every single event happening at any club in world football means something negative will happen at Southampton Football Club. If you want to see how Crystal Palace putting an offer in for a Portuguese full back can be interpreted as evidence that JWP will be sold next week, strap in.
  24. I'd rather we committed to three years of paying Danny Ings £100k a week because it is absolutely impossible to find anyone anywhere better and cheaper like Broja because those players simply do not exist.
