Probably yes. He didn't work with him much before Saints either. Koeman's success before Saints (eg Feyenoord) did not involve Erwin.
-
Er, that was not the situation he joined. He built a team from the wreckage of "that" Summer. I don't think he should come back but he did a terrific job with us. Much like Adkins, what he has (not) achieved since he left is absolutely irrelevant.

Welcome back to football after a year out, here, why not take a penalty. Madness.
-
Insanity to let him take one.
-
er, no.

Shane Long has come on so that means goals goals goals.

That team tonight is going to be such a pile of shit that Southern Water will be trying to discharge us off the coast of Worthing.
-
The "article" you've linked is just some words off the press release the day he was appointed. Lowe was obviously behind appointment of the Dutch duo. As every fucker knows, including Poortvliet and Wotte themselves.

I thought this was solid-to-excellent Fergal Sharkey/sewage based pun content so I am personally disappointed that this post did not get the numbers I was hoping for

You've not actually read this thread then.

Some are. Not mine. I said we'd finish bottom four pre-season and I've not seen anything to convince me otherwise. We're cast iron undeniably one of the worst four clubs in the league. So the battle is to stay out of the bottom three. When we were relegated before we had plenty of "well, on another day we'd have won that" "we've got some good players" "now that we've won that one game we've got some momentum" "[before match] I think this is a win today, I can't believe people are so negative [after match] we haven't got a divine right to beat anyone, I can't believe people are so impatient". All that shit I've seen before. We're relegation candidates all day, all season. Nothing else is on offer. We need probably eight more wins to stay up. Starting Saturday would be a massive help.

We're not a league two team having a rare visit to Anfield hoping for a cup shock FFS. We have won there before Ralph arrived you know. And has others have said, twice a season every season is run-of-the-mill.

He picked Broja against Sheffield United. He was fucking shit.

I wanna hold you wanna hold you tight They're dumping shits all through the night

Good news for Derby. If Rooney doesn't win the league now he's a total failure.

What "perspective" do you think "we're only 6 points from the top 10" gives you? After 9 games that's loads. That's miles away. Clue: it is absolutely not "two wins". For us to be top 10 at the halfway point of the season - 19 games - we will have needed to win probably 8 games, based on a few recent seasons. So seven more wins in the upcoming 10 matches to get to halfway. Seven wins. Reckon we're close to that? That's what your perspective is telling you?

So I looked at the last 29 games of last season and we are 17th with 7 wins, add that to the 1 win in the 9 of this season and we are where I'd think we are - bottom four - for the rolling 38 game "season". It's possible we can stay up, but incredibly likely we'll go down.
-
Why not 38?

The only thing this forum dislikes more than having shit players that won't leave is having good players that won't stay.

Fantastic week for the boy Widdrington this week. Kai and AJ delivered an excellent Argentine Tango and through to next round. Also, Twitter and newspapers telling me that he's banging it. He's doing the city proud.
-
If you look at the games they've played, Man U are only one point off par this season or something. And definitely really unlucky. And he needs time. After all typical knee jerkers wanted Sir Alex Ferguson out and etc etc etc.

Meh - it's a bottom six squad and we need a manager to try and finish at the top of that, so 15th. All I can see this season is whatever we do we're in trouble. Ralph is very very capable of relegating us, but also very capable of getting us to 15th. Every other managerial choice we make from here is really in the same bracket. Howe I think is more likely to relegate us than get us to 15th. But Howe could also get a new manager bounce and get us to 15th. Right now I still don't think that twisting will really benefit us more than sticking. It's such a marginal choice that we might as well stick with a manager and the squad that is entirely his. Give me three more matches and I may change my mind. This is not a ringing endorsement or defence of Ralph.

He said in "his lifetime supporting Saints" so lets say no it doesn't count. My lifetime also, won nothing (apart from the JPT). And trust me, I ain't young.

Jay Rod on for the winner.
