Couldn't give a flying fuck. They've won and we're getting what they voted for.

The dins will never accept it but if we are sovereign then it is impossible for us to be punished. Our sovereign, independent government will make sovereign independent decisions as a sovereign independent nation. Every consequence therefore is entirely a result of the sovereign independent government making those sovereign independent decisions independently. We can only punish ourselves, because we make all our decisions independently. Because we are sovereign.

The more Boris ramps up the no-deal likelihood (this morning we are now up to "very, very likely") the more it feels like we will get a deal. We're a "memorandum of understanding" on an "arbitration panel" away from a deal. The only objective Boris gives a shit about is to look like he's won. That's infinitely more important than anyone's job, or fishermen or business (Fuck business, as he said). So he just needs to ramp up the catastrophe to give him the room to concede everything (as he has already done on Ireland) and paint it as a stunning victory. Come this time next week they'll be a deal and we get to listen to the Guido-ette dinlows on here giving it the "and you said it couldn't be done" routine all over again.

Well we should absolutely walk that no problem at all.

I've seen the draw and we've got Huddersfield away. Disappointing.

All that can be achieved is a reasonable percentage of people will decide not to travel halfway across the country to sleep on the put-up bed at their parents house, or decide to have a "small Christmas this year" and so on. I have no doubt there will be a % decline in household get togethers, the average family Christmas table will be smaller than usual, Christmas travel less than usual etc etc. To be honest that is all that can be reasonably delivered. Some people will rip the arse out of it but no one is going to get a knock on the door on Christmas day, so they can. Let them get on with it. But the number of arse-rippers will be balanced out by an equally significant number of the super-cautious or the "its only one year, let's stay here" people who will go the other way.

Shane Long has come on and that means goals goals goals.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

There's been some absolute horseshit written on this thread but I take my hat off to the notion that "there is only a finite amount of money in the world at any one time". Dear me. -

Also 26/28. In fairness didn't have time to read many of the clues, just spamming in as many clubs as i could think of. -
The most sophisticated voter fraud in history turns out to be people turning up at election counts in branded Biden/Harris vans to drop off fake ballots. That's definitely what happened. Also, his follow-up tweet is a request for money. Get contributing lads, stick it to them pinkos.

That's funny because I don't quite remember David Cameron publicly challenging the vote or the integrity of the result on the day after the referendum. Do please point me in the direction of when he did that. Or Stuart Rose head of the Stronger In campaign. Or Alan Johnson who lead the Labour remain campaign. I guess one of those people must have said something like "if you count only the legal votes, we win easily". They must have because it's the same as Trump so must be that I just can't remember that they definitely said that. They must have sent lawyers out to a press conference to accuse the whole thing of being a fraud the following day. They must have, but of course I can't remember. But Brenda O'Neill has done a thing and the Guido-ette retards have swallowed it up so yeah it must have happened because it's exactly the same innit.

They don't have a smaller fanbase if that's what you're trying to imply. Even in drab, bang average Championship seasons, Derby pull in gates of 26k pretty easily. In seasons where they challenge for the top six they're up to 29k. We dropped down to the Championship and we were down to 23k in a flash. In our triumphant promotion season we scraped 26k. Derby have a very decent fanbase and always have had. Plenty of history and heritage and stadium in a place where it could be expanded. Derby have decent training facilities but I am sure ours are better but if the Arabs buy Derby I'm sure they'd sort that out. There's a whole world outside of Hampshire mate.

I think the only thing Trumps rants have done is made the networks a bit frightened to call it. Biden has won. It's very clear he will win Pennsylvania, there are only posted votes to count and they are hugely Biden even in the counties that are Trump rural counties. And at that point it's over. Its just a matter of the counting to finish. In six months time this election won't even be seen as being particularly close.
-
I am very familiar with both places and Derby is no more of a shit hole than Southampton which, let's be honest here, is an absolute fucking dump. If you're a foreign investor I am not sure the state of the local High Street or sink estate is much of a concern. So its irrelevant. Derby have decent infrastructure, a sizeable fanbase and significant potential, as anyone who swooning over the "value added" during the Leibherr years likes to talk about. Derby have the potential for promotion and the instant boost to the coffers that brings when we don't. We just have the constant pressure to keep spending to stay up. I'd say Derby is a far better bet for a significantly cheaper price.

Its very disappointing how long it has taken. It feels like barely anything has actually happened today. I keep on checking my phone and the news sites and nothing. I have wasted hours of my working day today which I could have been far better spent masturbating.

If Shane Long isn't going to get regular game time, then I worry that we will really miss his goal.

See you in two years.

Some days it feels like Michael Foot won the last election, it really does.

Where have you read this?

I think they mean the cost of what the Premier League are charging the broadcasters to carry the games. The 14.99 thing is from the League as much as it is from the broadcasters.
-
Not sure anyone ever said that crowds didn't make a difference in the first place. Everyone knows that football without crowds is a different proposition. This season is generating randomised results because its not much more than a series of training day kickabouts. All we need to do is stay on the right side of things and keep getting those points in the bag.

I've never mentioned "laws".

It is Peru-style.

Fair enough but KWP made his debut for us back in the days when you could sit next to someone on a bus, go to the cinema or lick a pub door handle if you wanted. So I don't think he quite counts.

At least we have managed to start with one of the players signed in this supposedly fantastic transfer window. Good luck Theo.
