I must have missed Dominic Grieve and Ken Clarke and Hillary Benn celebrating their triumph back then but they must have been delighted after all. Who knew. It's pretty clear whatever happens on Brexit it will always, always, always be someone else's fault. Maybe I should just be quietly delighted that my side won after all.

This Leicester result has far more potential to influence our next match than the Villa/Palace match ever did. United now have a real shot at getting into the top four tomorrow. Let's hope they blow it like Leicester have.

An alternative view is Burnley are 6 points clear of us with four games to go. If, as you say, we are aiming to finish above them, then we need to do a heck of a lot more than to whittle about the team in 14th winning or losing the odd game. Or, more succinctly, absolutely fucking irrelevant.

I don't think you can play down the magnitude of this result on our march to tenth place. Fingers crossed the teams in 13th/14th/15th keep losing because god knows we need that so bad. So, so bad.

Burnley have now lost one game in thirteen, and that was to Manchester City. They're now on 50 points with 9 more points to play for, including Norwich. If that was Saints would you be forecasting that our form is about to collapse so badly that a team 6 points behind are going to overhaul us?
