  1. Gobble gobble yum yum yum. Let's see who swallows May's deal this week.
  2. They weren't death threats, just people pointing out that one day she will definitely die it was by no means a threat at all just a completely objective observation nobody was endorsing her death try and get that to penetrate your cranium etc etc etc.
  3. I imagine the outrage at this shocking injustice will be all over the English football media all weekend.
  4. Why do you people expect a player who was called up because other players dropped out to then stroll into the first eleven? You're blubbering about Southgate not fancying him when quite frankly he's the only England manager who would ever pick him at all, unless the FA decided to give the job to JWP's own father. James Ward Prowse doesn't get a game for England. I, for one, am shocked and outraged. FFS.
  5. Sorry, my mistake. If there's one thing I can't stand it's sarcasm.
  6. You know the EU are going to crack and concede to all our demands at the last minute, because that's what happens with every EU negotiation...that's going to happen any day now right? Especially once the German car makers start banging on the door.
  7. A 50/50 result in a yes/no referendum isn't a great representation of the will of the people. And, ultimately life is about choices. The Swiss government needed to work through which things are most important, make choices around that and accept the consequences of those choices. Much like May has had to do, and the swivel eyed loons from the ERG refuse to do.
  8. May's statement in a nutshell:
  9. I think the official history books will judge Sam Gallagher as probably the greatest football player ever to pull on the red and white stripes of Southampton.
  10. We are obviously going to sign at least one player in the summer, highly likely to be more than that. We've not had a summer of zero signings at any point since promotion (or, in recent times) so no reason we'd suddenly start now.
  11. Referendums aren't won on the hard edges, - the 30% hard leave and 30% hard remain - have indeed hardened but they are irrelevant. It's the middle few - probably 3 million people - that would swing it either way. Anyway, it won't get to another referendum because Parliament will not vote for it. Corbyn is just going his "well, I tried" routine. The deal will go through, eventually.
  12. If anything, it is unfair to the big clubs. There's no real reason they should give the equal share they give to clubs like Burnley and Palace and us. The smaller clubs do very well out of it.
  13. Open wide. Yum yum yum yum yum.
  14. https://amp.ft.com/content/b7336670-4711-11e9-b83b-0c525dad548f?__twitter_impression=true Graham Brady urging his colleagues to vote for the deal on Tuesday. Gobble gobble yum yum yum yum yum.
  15. Scrapping the league cup means fewer games. I accept your apology. It didn't feel pointless when Gabbiadini equalised at Wembley but that was in February so still winter time so presumably you refused to watch it out of principle. Anyway as previously discussed hope you are having an absolute blast over the next few weeks with no horrible Saints matches to get in the way of things.
  16. They're breathing down our necks they're breathing down our necks they're breathing down our necks they are they are they are
  17. Huddersfield will still need at least 18 points in seven fu cking games. Like your Lemina paranoid breakdown in the summer, it's not happening sweetheart.
  18. What is the relevance of the West Ham match on our season?
  19. Great signing Puel.
  20. Less fixture congestion and more rest and getting rid of the league cup. No idea where I could have possibly "invented the notion" that you want fewer matches.
  21. Er, you've scrapped the League Cup and reengineered the FA Cup so we could be knocked out in October or November - fingers crossed!!!!! so we can get shot of those fiddly football matches clogging up the diary.
  22. We've got at least two matches in May - do you want to scrap them too? And tournaments happen in June but let's scrap them too so no one gets tired.
  23. Jesus effing wept. You must be overjoyed this weekend- Saints aren't playing YEESSSSSS And next week YEEEESSSSSS Saints aren't playing again. YES YES YES
  24. You're the one ranting and raving about "the worst deal in history" sunshine. Anyway, I'll stick with my prediction. The deal will go through and you will celebrate celebrate celebrate.
  25. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-47584616 Gobble, gobble, gobble.
