  1. Jesus wept.
  2. Well, no. They're not.
  3. Doesn't feel like a coherent strategy, does it. He's not the greatest but we need willing runners to be part of our futile attempt to stay up, so I'd like him to stay.
  4. Alan Nixon this morning saying we are open to a loan move for Shane Long.
  5. There's nothing true about it, either.
  6. This. We've got exactly the same tombola team selections we've had with the previous managers. Massively disappointed with Hughes. I think we've got him at the arse-end of his Prem career and he's lost it.
  7. It is a bit early but the signs are not good.
  8. We finished seventh, sixth and eighth since then you utter bellend.
  9. Well, at least we have the Pompey derby to look forward to next season.
  10. Feels like a relegation season already.
  11. We are never ever ever ever going to score.
  12. Obviously the Daily Mail don't want Corbyn anywhere near the levers of power and will continue to pound him until they think that threat has passed. And who can blame them? Corbyn is a monumental bellend.
  13. Luckily for them, Gary Rowett will turn it around. He's definitely a footballing genius and not just flavour of the month that our resident forum experts latched on to during the summer. Let's see if those forum experts drooling about how wonderful he was over the summer are still sticking to that in a few months time.
  14. I think it's brilliant that we have introduced choice into the sector so that inmates feel empowered to shop around and select the prison most appropriate to their needs.
  15. When I was a kid the original Lenny Henry shows were just the greatest. For that I'll always have a soft spot for him. That, and the Comic Relief work which is peerless. Lenny Lenny Len Lenny Lenny Len Lenny Henry Show.
  16. Okay, we're going to get annihilated. See you next week.
  17. The answer is incredibly thick. He's been a pretty dopey backbencher who achieved jack sh it for thirty odd years. He got the leadership nomination by default in a process almost identical to how a group of 16 year olds nominate someone to buy the beer in the off licence, shoved forward because it was "his turn". He couldn't muster even the bare minimum of support for the people he was seeking to lead, because they knew he wasn't remotely up to it. And so it has proved. Utterly, utterly embarrassingly useless. Patheticly behind in the polls against the worst government in modern history. All I want is the Tories out and a government focused on social justice, economic growth and positive change. But my children aren't going to get that because of that utter fu cking useless tit and the seal-clapping fu ckwits egging him on. But yeah, like, Iraq. Cu nts.

Utterly fu cking retarded question about why don't we expand the stadium because other stadiums aren't full so why can't we be not full just bigger. Moronic.

Just got in from work and put it on - how much longer is it on for?
  20. I would do my entire weekly shop at Marks and Spencer. All of it, even the washing up liquid and that. Every week.
  21. We did gate crash it when we finished 6th and 7th. Oh well, it's Burnley's now, they won't make any mistakes and we can sit back and watch them take their chance and finish top seven every single season for the next twenty years. Oh well that could have been us etc etc.
  22. Leicester's four seasons back in the Prem - 14th, 12th, 9th and the season they won the league. They were in the Championship as recently as 2014. They are perfectly capable of flirting with relegation especially as that's exactly what they did for half of, er, last season. It really wouldn't be that much of a surprise. If Burnley have proved anything it's that the other 14 are indeed collectively weak: it just takes decent organisation, focus on the basics plus some luck with injuries and that mini "league" can be won. And what "established order" did Burnley upset exactly? It's only an established order if you think Leicester are nailed on to finish 7th/8th every season even when they haven't actually done that since returning to the division.
  23. You can prove anything with facts.
  24. I didn't see the game, heard commentary on bits but lost it as we drove further north. Nice to see such positivity about all of our new faces today, even in a match where it sounded like we were dreadful for huge parts of. Let's hope we click and the new additions genuinely improve us. And Ings stays fit.
  25. If anyone on this forum is an expert on hollow words vs actual deeds then it's you.
