Leicester showing quite how difficult it is to "build on" success for clubs our size. Now only one point clear in 17th, with Liverpool, Arsenal and, excitingly, Hull to play in the league next.
-
Feel free to point me in the direction of any posts from me defending the club over what happened with the centre back situation in January. While you're looking, you may find a fair few posts from me laying into the club and Les specifically, some of them are jolly funny too. But if you want to make sh it up in your angry little head, I'm not going to stop you.

Precisely. The famous Morgan outrage tweet was entirely because the Italian had already capitulated to the player and bigger clubs and already agreed to sell him. It was the new regime that had the balls to say no. Cash-in Cortese had already flogged the Ox, was flogging Lambert against his will and had sold Morgan before anyone had really bid. No evidence to suggest the sell sell sell mentality wouldn't have continued.
-
Of course they would. They haven't even reached general sale yet and there's only a couple of thousand left.
-
The only giddy people on this forum have been the utter dins who have spent the last few weeks dribbling about how we're getting relegated even though it is painfully obvious we aren't going to be.
-
He's never coming back sweetheart. He's never coming back.

Even if that was true, who recruited Koeman? I have enjoyed how the anti-Lesbians on this forum have slowly formed a new mythology that Ronald Koeman was some kind of anti-Reed sleeper cell and everything he achieved was entirely in spite of the director of football so is disregarded from the Les Reed achievements list. So that's okay then. Yep, it's only ever when things go badly that it ever has anything to do with Les Reed. God help these loons if we win the league cup and rally to a respectable finish in May. The logical gymnastics have been a sight to behold in recent weeks, but if those things do happen they'll be twisting and stretching like Dhalsim in Street Fighter 2.
-
Would you have preferred us to have not signed a striker in January and just relied on Jay Rod instead? Because we can't be having him all upset can we?
-
Brilliant. It's eating him up inside. Well done team, well done Claude, well done Les. Investment in a proper striker has paid off massively. Now on to the cup final that some of us wanted us to get to.
-
A clean sheet will be a lovely boost ahead of Wembley. Come on boys.
-
Take that you slags.
-
That was a shambles.
-
This will be a really easy win.
-
It's okay. I'm back in the game. True story.
-
And now it's disappeared. Ballbags. What other Kodi channels are there?
-
Anyone having any issues with Sportsnation on Kodi? Not even opening for me.
-
I nearly posted that - I think Romeo/Clasie/Davis is our best three in Puel's system.
-
Why? PEH has been no better than JWP this season. If anything JWP has earned his place in the side, especially recently. PEH will come good but probably late this season/early next.

Most underachieving team in the Premier League...
CB Fry replied to Unbelievable Jeff's topic in The Saints
In a calculation universally known as "The Match Reporter's Opening Paragraph Writes Itself Coalescence" a player with the same or similar name as a former legend of host/opposing club is more likely to score than not score in any given match at 1 to the power 12.4. This increases to 7-2 on favourite if said player is on first visit and even further to to 93% if said player is a maverick Italian who looks like a scarecrow. -

Well, we've been on a poor run recently and haven't won away for ages so I reckon we're definitely due a win today. -
Okay then. It was football players and football managers that got us to the Prem. All led by Les Reed.
-
Reed was in charge of all the football decisions, which is what that post was about. Cortese was the commercial "brains", which at a club our size was nothing short of a clusterf uck of gaffe after gaffe in his time, from the humiliating photography rights stand down to multiple fumbles with sponsorship deals and bungled kit contracts with atrocious designs or designs we couldn't actually play in. Our first full season in the Premier League, the world's most lucrative sports competition the short one left us with commercial revenue LOWER than then-Championship Watford. Round of applause for that one. If those issues were translated into sporting decisions I'd wager we'd still be scrabbling around in League One. Anyway it's been in the Premier League in the infinitely more successful Ralph Krueger era that Les has gone from strength to strength, this seasons couple of blips excepted.
-
He ain't playing on Saturday, work permit or not. If he's fit enough to be on the bench at the cup final we're doing well.

Weapons grade.
