  1. Keep away from those sharp objects, yeah?
  2. It's not really about policies, it's about Corbyn being utterly inept. He can't run a press office, he's got no hope of running a government. He's never run anything. The policies are barely discernable from Miliband's manifesto but that apparently was just like voting Tory, weren't it, tho? Just remember your years of "Red Tory" snide guff on here and bear that in mind when you remember which Labour leader results in delivering the biggest Conservative majority in generations. This election could have been a Labour triumph. It won't be. "Fu ck off to the Tories then" they said with their little placards and comedy t-shirts. Guess what, they effing well will. Well done. Try owning it instead of grizzling about the media. But them rallies were good weren't they?
  3. Except, of course, he quit Feyenoord because he was fully expecting a job at a half-decent club, and he got one. You can spin what you like but he was a high profile name with experience in multiple leagues and success to his name before he arrived at SMS. Comparing him to Bob Bradley or Tony Adams is ridiculous. Well done though.
  4. He clearly wasn't an "absolute failure". Ridiculous.
  5. Being elected MP for Islington North is not evidence of being electable - Jeffrey Dahmer in a red rosette would walk Islington North. And neither does his victories in the Labour leadership elections. As we will soon see, the Labour membership is not the population. If Labour had anything remotely resembling a competent or electable leader (two different things, Corbyn is neither) then May wouldn't have called the election. Enjoy the two weeks from polling day bounce, it will soon pass. The great tragedy here is this is an election Labour could have won, the Tory record is weak and their top team really isn't special, and they've made a dog's dinner of an open goal election so far. I won't forgive Corbyn and the idiots that surround him for destroying Labour as an electoral force for a decade.

The acid test next year will be if we finish on 50 points but finish tenth. Will that be "we're going backwards FFS we're going backwards" or not?
  7. 2001 has asked for its thread back.
  8. None of the players you've named are "Championship standard". Even the weakest player in your list - Rodriguez - was subject to £10m plus interest from other Prem clubs in the summer and in January.
  9. Also also, it feels right that Silva is not on the list. He is an agent's best friend and really really not our type. Sorry Crabby, I know you love him but it doesn't feel like a good fit to me.
  10. I will read between those lines - they're telling Wilson who isnt on their shorlist, not telling him there isn't a shortlist - and conclude that Claude is toast. Also, my sweepstake guess of Wednesday is looking good.
  11. Paired up with a young, up and coming coach like Bryan Robson or Stuart Pearce and you could be on to something.
  12. I would suggest that the "lefties" who are in favour of nationalising everything at the scale you seem to be blathering about would have been leavers not remainers. The Morning Star was a leave supporter, as are archytypical hard left bods like Dennis Skinner and, well, that Jeremy Corbyn. Really, really good try though.
  13. I get a feeling that another trip to Wembley is on the cards next season.
  14. Cool story, bro.
  15. Is this a wind up? Celtic are several rungs below us in the pecking order. And they aren't in the Champions League. They've got the opportunity to qualify for it.
  16. Arf. If there's one thing those pesky Krauts and Frogs hate it's nationalised industries. They much prefer free market free spirits like EDF and SNCF.
  17. My cousin works for DHL and he delivered the monogrammed tracksuits there this morning.
  18. Saintsweb nostalgia fans will remember the great sweepstakes of old, and as the season draws to a close I think its high time for a new one. So, let's have your guesses for the day and hour of the Puel departure announcement on the club official site. Available are ONE HOUR SLOTS between 9pm tonight for the next two weeks. It's first come first served. One forum contributor can own "he stays for next season", they may be right, and one person can have any time after 4th June. First come first served on those two too. Name your day and time and you own it. My pick is 10-11am on Wednesday 24th. Prize for the correct answer or closest without going over is ten thousand pounds*. Good luck. *Prize dependent on sponsor. No correspondence will be entered into. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  19. Kings of the dross.
  20. Eighth best team in the country.
  21. If we'd spent the last four months shopping goals left right and centre, conceding 2 and 3 but still managing the exact same results, points and GD as now the same meltdowners would be having the same meltdown, just about a different thing: they'd been frothing with absolute fury at our failure to replace Fonte and our hopeless defense. None of these people would be drooling about how jolly entertaining it has all been.

You are utterly full of sh it. There are good ITKs on this forum I will pay attention to. You are completely irrelevant.

All our business in private. We're unique like that.
  24. Well I am planning to remember it for the rest of my life.
  25. I don't think it is acceptable to employ a first team manager that looks like a new arrival in Hollyoaks who is confused about his sexuality.
