Man says generic vague ambitions in local interview shocker. More on this developing story when we get it

If only we hadn't "dithered".

A Discussion with Definitely Not Glasgow (Split)

Does anyone know how to get jizz out of a pair of pants? -
According to the owner of Sheffield Wednesday if that's a good enough source for you?
-
We approached Russell Martin and had him in the bag in the May and you're calling that "dithering"? Jesus wept.

We've seen this kind of horseshit on this forum before. Toby Alderwireld going to Spurs the most memorable. It's not "first come first served". That's not how professional football works, or how agents work, or how actual life works. Danny Rohl has an agent, a manager and his own free will. There is not a planet where Southampton Football Club "moves quickly" and sign him up and dopey old Danny has no sense of his own worth or interest in other clubs and leagues. You think he just signs up with the first club that appears, the quickest one? Danny Rohl might come but if the Premier League or a top Bundesliga club come in then good for him. He should go for it. We're not "dithering" FFS. The seasons aren't even finished yet.

Will be a performance where they all bust a gut and try their hearts out for 75 minutes but lose 3-0 anyway. What they needed to do was try on Saturday against shit opposition, not go all out for the noble defeat against CL level opposition.

There isn't half some horseshit on twitter about it. Liverpool fans pretending that what they're really upset about is the free transfer part, that he hasn't allowed the club to make money like Spurs and Kane. Because in the alternative universe where he signed a three year contract last year and then agitated for a big money move to Real Madrid this summer they'd all be absolutely fine with it and he'd go with their blessing. Do me a favour.

As a Derby resident I can't disagree except to say that Southampton is just as bad.
-
It's pretty much exactly the same stadium built to the same Barr specification of the late 90s. If there is a marginal difference in max capacity it will be due to fannying around with corporate space vs seats.
-
Maybe he can now do that "I'll never have another football job after Southampton because I'm retiring forever" thing he said before.
-
On the train back home to Derby. Absolutely fucking dreadful. The Matty Fernandes song was pretty much the only highlight. Away fans deserve better than that.

I find it surprising that Leicester haven’t binned off RVN already. He’s obviously not going to be their manager next year and relegation is confirmed. I would have thought they’d gamble on a new (caretaker) manager bounce ahead of their easiest game of the season but they haven’t.

Listened to this on my drive in this morning - brilliant stuff from WGS. They spoke about Clive Woodward far too much when he wasn't even there for that but that's on the hosts not him. Stopped listening to this podcast regularly when it changed from Quickly Kevin (90s) to Lets Be Having You (2000s) and I think I made the right decision.

Pin it up in the Dressing Room

It's not 1986 anymore. Hillsborough is an absolute toilet and will never host anything resembling a FA Cup semi final ever again.
-
I think everything is fine with the team apart from we don’t score enough goals and concede too many.

Thanks for the PM mate, some eye opening info. Don’t worry I won’t tell anyone else 👍

What do I do now?

Sport Republic have delivered the Greatest Era In Our History so I don’t really think they have anything else left to do.

The first four are definitely leaving. I don't know why anyone on here is pretending that it is even a debate. Any manager coming in is also going to understand that. Archer I have no idea why you have grouped him in with the others. A season in the Championship is what he needs but if Leeds or a promoted SUFC want him, see you later. We will have an excellent squad for the Championship next season and we will be attractive to potential managers. But it doesn't all depend on Aaron Ramsdale leaving. Of course he's leaving.

I don't have anyone on ignore, never have. I'm not changing that for a twat like you. I'll read and reply to who I like when I like, God willing.
