Literally Fellows and Azaz were bought because they were exactly that. Adam Armstrong absolutely is up there on goals record at this level. Charles is. THB is and a fucking England full international FFS. Downes absolutely is. Edwards player of the season on 6 months loan. The other signings are good players, nearly all of them (Downs the exception). And of course 100% proven in the Championship Aribo and Edozie. Stop pretending we have some terrible squad. We have one of the best squads in the league being managed by a fucking idiot.

On the whole we have been abysmal all season. Absolutely abysmal. The only thing saving him is he has better players. If he had (say) the Bristol or QPR or whatever squad he'd be in the relegation zone. Some managers over deliver with their resources, our guy is 100% the opposite of that. This guy is not going to turn it round, we're all just waiting for the inevitable sacking. The only question is how long the management are going to stick it out for.

We are down to the only people saying "give him time, he's building something etc etc etc etc" are the same usual people who would be saying people who would be saying that whoever our manager is. Whoever it is never ever ever sack them. It's always funny to watch those people merrily kick shit out of alternatives - Carrick is rubbish, Robins is rubbish, Gary O Neil is rubbish etc etc. If any of those people were our manager they'd be saying how great they are and how they need time and etc etc etc. They'd be defending their recruitment to the death. "They will be brilliant in time purely because they happen to be Southampton manager today" is not that great an opinion in my view.

Man United, Chelsea and (let's see if it happens) Juventus. Why would they stay? I definitely wouldn't.

In fairness to the club I think they are trying to do that. They are not intentionally appointing people that they know will leave after seven months.

This season is Spors "project" and he is clearly responsible for the "good" things - Scienza, Jander - as he is the terrible, disastrous things - Downs and Will Still. He's been given fifty plus million to spend and you're on here making out "his hands have been tied". Jesus wept. I think sometimes people have to take responsibility - this particular disaster is down to the decisions of Spors and an out of his depth first team manager. Not everything is a secret bogeyman controlling everything.

Not sure that posting some platitudes on Instagram is "real leadership" in any way shape or form. Plenty to complain about but that isn't one of them.

If you're a Blackburn fan you'd be convinced that Armstrong will score and he probably will. And as we all know, all we need to do is score and then everything falls into place no problem. Blackburn are fucking shit. So for us a win is bare bare minimum and gets us back to 2 whole wins in 10 games which is utterly pathetic for the investment and expectation of this club. A win will be nice but will prove nothing re Still or the direction of this club.
