  1. Or, it's a joke.
  2. Absolutely. Neither route into the CL is likely. Through winning the Europa League is a marginally more possible miracle.
  3. Having seen Celtic, Rangers, Fulham and Middlesbrough in the final over the last 15 years or so, I'd say it was more likely to be honest. Not hugely likely, but more likely.
  4. Nothing has been "suddenly replaced" with anything. Reed has been saying exactly the same thing as this in every interview he's ever given since we were promoted and probably before.
  5. The chances are we are never, ever going to finish top four. The circumstances that would bring it about are just so unlikely. If we did it, it would be tremendous but relies on at least two major clubs having a nightmare season as well as the consistency across an entire season we would need to deliver. A miniscule chance. I'm losing zero sleep on it. Win a cup or two and some Europa action? Bring it on.
  6. Not only the solution to our creativity and goals problem, he's also the answer to our goalkeeping crisis. He's some player, this Jack Cork.
  7. Spot on. Whatever we've lacked recently it ain't Jack "goal machine" Cork.
  8. Maybe. But he was never dropped because people thought he couldn't bat. The advice to get county runs under his belt was poor/misleading advice because it was never going to make any difference. That was a poor show.
  9. Our squad will never really be any deeper than it is now. We're not a big enough club to have huge numbers of top 8 standard players sat on the bench.
  10. This season for two clubs, 24 games, zero assists. Last season 26 games for us, one assist. Season before, 30 games, zero. Season before, 39 in the Championship and two assists. Stats don't prove everything but stats and actually watching Jack Cork play tells me that he was a) not a goalscorer (remember what they look like?) and b) not a creative threat. Jack Cork did what he did well but not well enough to be selected in front of Morgan and Victor. Really strange that people just can't accept this very basic information.
  11. 2 goals in 130 odd appearances. I remember what goalscorers look like and they don't look like Jack Cork.
  12. Adam Lallana - it's ridiculous he has thrown away his starting position at Saints to be a bit part playing bench warmer at Liverpool. It's a disgrace. Jack Cork - it's ridiculous he wanted to have a starting position at Swansea when he had a golden opportunity to be a a bit part playing bench warmer at Saints. It's a disgrace.
  13. Who remembers what happened at the end of January, which was proclaimed by some/many on here as exactly what we needed to allow us the focus and recuperation time to fully concentrate on our league objectives...? How did that pan out?
  14. It's just a step to the right....let's do the time warp again.
  15. Enjoy the fact that today you've learned that you live in a country in the Commonwealth. Strange to not be aware of that because I thought you've said previously you've lived in Canada for thirty years or more. Weird that you've never heard it mentioned before, like, on the news and that. But there you go. Today you know. Enjoy it, now.
  16. Doesn't really matter if it means anything to you or not. You live in a country in the Commonwealth of Nations. You enjoy it, now.
  17. UKIP supporter accuses others of being in a time warp, in the same post where he uses the epithet "EUSSR". Solid gold.
  18. The Dalek comedy machine jumps the shark. You am so funny I think I might wet my nick-nicks.
  19. ...which, of course, grants you omniscient knowledge of every person in all parts of the entire South West. You're so clever.
  20. ...
  21. Ye gods. This forum has gone through the looking glass when people start making out the Clare Short is in any way right wing, centre or otherwise.
  22. On paper looks like an excellent appointment.
  23. I'm perfectly aware of what Blair did. It was mass appeal and centrist. But it wasn't centre right, it was centre left (clue: John Prescott existed) and 13 years of it not that long ago doesn't make us a "centre right nation" which was the point I am challenging. The UK will go with pragmatic centrist politics either way.
  24. Are we going to have a whole summer of this stuff? Hint: we weren't going to finish top four this season. Get over it.
