England International standard players = generally better players than the average = this and their English-ness mean they have high market value = high earning potential for individual players = bigger clubs pay higher wages and provide opportunities to play CL and/or win things = players move on.

Fair's fair, the Conservative plan to flog housing association housing is beyond horrific. Cynical and completely counter-productive with regard to the housing challenge. Can imagine it receiving a rapturous response from some on here though, so mission accomplished.

What "misinformation on the internet"? You've been complaining about the BBC's official statement on the matter. Verbal has very effectively dealt with your muddled and contradictory complaints about that already. Far from it being an opportunity to agree to disagree you just come across as incredibly confused and incorrect. If anyone is dishing out "misinformation on the internet" I'd say it was you.
-
Sometimes I don't even need to try. You're a walking talking self-parody.
-
We will have to accept that one season they will come up to the dizzy heights of L1. Annoyingly Waddock does seem perfectly capable of delivering it.

So then, what is the second side to the story being that Clarkson, the BBC and the producer are on one side together in agreement. Who is on the other side and what is it? And If I am mocking Whitey it is because he doesn't actually have an opinion on this subject. He is just flailing about looking for something to get upset with but he can't work out what. Anyone dismissing the matter as media "hearsay" on one hand then demanding to be told intimate gossip like what type of punch was thrown ("was it a haymaker??") on the other is a deeply confused individual. The pair of you are picking at non existent or irrelevant threads on this matter but neither of you seem to have any specific point to make apart from a strange need to turn something that has been resolved and dealt with into an unsolvable mystery. It's bizarre, not an "opinion" that needs to be "respected" and I'll happily mock you for it.

Still trying that eh? Fk me you're boring.
-
That's nice, dear.

Awful lot of waffle there but really not making any particular point. Great work. Almost like you are desperate to find fault in something that all parties involved have agreed on and moved on from. Your "I know about disciplinary procedure, I do" stuff really only becomes relevant if one of the parties subsequently makes a complaint. Guess what, they aren't going to. Not Clarkson, not anyone else. There is no great mystery and nothing contentious in this affair, but well done on your desperate digging around to find something to get upset about.

I think as a Saints supporter I "really really want to beat" every club we play in the league, be it Burnley, Villa, Liverpool or Arsenal. So Bournemouth would be the same, but I'd want them to stay up and do well in the league elsewhere. That isn't a rivalry.
-
I'd agree with Jenas on it. But if he had given a red, then I wouldn't blame the ref, I'd blame Pelle for flailing his arms about. Sometimes clumsiness deserves punishment but our boy got away with it.
-
But he's Kevin "no friend of ours" Friend and he hates us or something. Decent pen JWP, by the way.

You appear to have changed my name to another forum contributor when you've quoted me there. You're an odd one and no mistake.
-
I think you might need to actually work out what you are trying to say on this matter, because frankly you're all over the shop. Found that question mark for me yet?
-
We could have been in the Premier League managed by someone who had before Saints finished ninth in that division straight after promotion into it, plus got to cup final and qualified for Europe; and after leaving Saints finished fifth and qualified for Europe again with another club. And won LMA manager of the year. And seems to be doing okay at yet another Premier League club. Is that where we could have been? It's worked out fine for all involved but let's not pretend we'd have spent five years in L1 under Pardew. Where's that little short bloke now?
-
So no answer on the great question mark mystery then. No idea why you are getting so wound up about the precise details of the actual assault. As I've already said, It's a private internal disciplinary matter and absolutely none of your business. Just looks like gossip mongering on your part really. And it's pretty bloody obvious it bears no relationship whatsoever with the Prescott thing. The key word in the statement is "unprovoked". That statement has not been contested by Clarkson and as you yourself say in your previous post it was an "agreed" statement. You understand the English word "unprovoked", yes? Feel free to post up the YouTube of Prescott and try and convince me that punch was "unprovoked". I doubt you will, you'll probably just squinny off claiming I'm bullying you. It's not me "misunderstanding" things here.
-
Here's the post I replied to. Where is the question mark? Anyway. Do you still think that the incident was just "hearsay" in media? I'm asking you a question, as indicated by using the correct punctuation. A simple yes or no answer would be fine.
-
It wasn't that many Saints fans. Many knew he would have taken us up to the Championship that season.
-
See no other thread on this. Just wanted to recognise a) Sherwood you absolute c#@#. Thank you. b) Enjoyed Pardew going to Sunderland and winning at last, and spectacularly too. The Toon "faithful" won't know what to feel tonight, enjoying a Sunderland tonking but dished out by their nemesis. Well done Pards.
-
They're not going to make the play offs and they wouldn't even if they did win four in a row.
-
We've been certain of 7th for weeks and weeks.
-
Thankfully, there's no chance of them equalising and then scoring a winner in the last ten minutes.
-
Maybe because everyone agrees what happened? You seem to be suggesting there is something untoward. Funny really, when you positioned yourself as being above hearsay and speculation.
-
That will be your spin not mine, unless you want to point out in my post anything about life threatening or ambulances - do show me. In fact I compared it to similar instances up and down the country. The spin is people trying to make out it wasn't a crime. It was- a minor, pointless crime.
-
Punching someone so they end up in A&E is a crime. But probably not a crime worth dragging through the courts. Much like the various punch ups that happen across the UK every weekend. Not really sure who is going to say what happened wasn't a crime, and what difference it makes anyway.
