Fucking have that TractorJames or whatever your name is
-
That's why I said it is broke.
-
If it is broke, don't fix it.
-
Let me know when you find out about suicide bombers.
-
I've spoken to loads and loads and loads of Ipswich fans and they all agree your entire season has been a massive fluke. If you didn't keep getting lucky breaks and the rub of the green and pure dumb luck you would definitely be about thirteenth rather than second.
-
Ipswich can't keep this up, they'll definitely fall away.
-
Ipswich will definitely definitely win, no question about it.
-
Not-quite-West-Country Wankers. Magic Roundabout? They'll be going round in fucking circles once we've shoved it right up 'em. 4-0.
-
Surely to God they can get 4 more in half an hour.
-
I want eleven just to be sure.
-
£87m loss on the balance sheet but you've still got to live a little.

It would be the final freak in this freak season if a team that has conceded as many goals as we have were to go up automatically. We've already let in more than nearly every club that have gone up automatically has in a whole season, so it's not looking great for us.
-
It means we need to get promoted this year. Not “well we did quite well considering”.
-
It's not our relegation year. It's year one of the greatest era in our history.

We have. The "perspective" you need is that Sports Republic have an aim to get back to the Premier League immediately, which is why Wilcox was brought in, which is why we spent more than any other club on a single player, which is why we managed to sign top drawer players for this level like Fraser, Downes and THB, which is why we kept KWP and Sulemana and Smallbone and Adams, which is why we signed big name loanees like Brooks and Rothwell. Which is why the club is expecting to get promoted - not to "not do that badly". He's not managing some plucky underdog team cobbled together with "free transfers" like you seem to think. Martin is doing well, we are bang on two points a game which in any "normal" season is autos all day long, so good. If we finish the season on 2 points a game then he's done a very good job, it will be by far the best season of his career. But, if we don't go up, he will also have failed in his key objective. That's the non disingenuous perspective you need.

All there in my original reply this morning, sunshine. Read it again if you like.
-
Pretty obvious that isn't the disingenuous part, sweetheart.
-
I was replying to your ridiculously disingenous post in the first place, so I wouldn't chuck that word around too much if I were you.
-
Maybe Russell Martin should send the team out wearing 50s and 60s boots on Wednesday. After all iT nEvEr diD tErRy pAiNe aNy hARm nO iT dIdN't

Don't try and explain the word "analyse" to me when you have used the phrase "you can't analyse football" when, obviously, you can.
-
Cool story. Meanwhile we spent the most on a single player in the Championship last summer. You're pretending Flynn Downes and Taylor Harwood-Bellis are cast offs we scrimped together rather than high performing brilliant promotion level Championship talent? We've got £25m players coming off the bench yesterday. Russell Martin was employed to get us promoted. This season. Stop pretending it is some unbelievable miracle that we are fourth. We are at the bare minimum for the investment made and the support given.
-
Replace the word "football" here with the word "blue whales" or "inner city children's cognitive development" or "the flow of traffic in metropolitan areas" and you might understand how moronic your statement is. You can "analyse" anything.

The Possibility of a Proper Derby Match is on the Horizon
CB Fry replied to John B's topic in The Saints
One small consolation of failure to get promoted* will indeed be the prospect of a proper Derby match next season. A match against Derby which is just down the road from me. -
Yes sorry, should not have quoted you
