  1. Is your expectation that we should be conceding zero goals across 12 games?
  2. What even is that? Norwich, Stoke, Swansea, Watford, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Coventry bumbling around sometimes threatening the play offs, sometimes League One, often just 11th-12th sludge. No idea what you think we'd become.
  3. I can see us losing a play off semi on penalties.
  4. Exactly. The point is they can have a wobble - lose two, draw one, three games without a win etc - but they will more than likely still be second. As with last season, it's just people wishing other teams to lose themselves to our safety/success.
  5. Leicester do their bit. Ipswich do their bit. Leeds do their bit. We are absolutely no way getting top two.
  6. Well if Stuart Armstrong had spent even fucking longer strolling off to the far side of the pitch, who knows we could have lost 1-2.
  7. Setting it up lovely for a stoppage time equaliser here.
  8. Well done Bazunu 👏
  9. Well done Bazunu 👏
  10. Aribo earned his number 7 shirt for a moment then.
  11. Turning the screw a bit, now.
  12. We're tapping it around like nobody's business
  13. It's coming out both ends.
  14. Flynn Downes back on the chicken livers, then - will that boy ever learn?
  15. I think what he is saying is that Calderwood only was announced at the end of October but the turnaround in form started over a month before, six games unbeaten, four wins. I know we love a bit of myth making on this forum but I think it would be a good idea to avoid pretending we were terrible and useless before Colin Calderwood turned up because it isn't true.
  16. 31 starts in the Premier League is not "he was never given a chance". That is plenty. That an opportunity at top flight level That most strikers around the world would kill for. Absolutely insane this forum that people think that isn't a reasonable opportunity to make a mark, or, you know, score more than two goals a season.
  17. This is a thread about Adam Armstrong but it seems to me the vast majority of your argument is that Che Adams is rubbish so that makes Adam Armstrong a Premier League striker by default. Adam Armstrong had plenty of starts and minutes to score goals in the Premier League. He didn't.
  18. You can repeat it over and over and over but you will never make it true. You're trying to make out that Adam Armstrong was some unused gem who never got a chance, spent two years kicking his heels. When in fact he played game after game, match after match and basically never fucking scored in Premier League. He had opportunities in the top flight that a thousand other strikers would kill for.
  19. I wrote a long reply but honestly what's the point. What you're saying is just nonsense. The Premier League is not "weaker", the FA Cup draw is normal, the Championship is not much different to other seasons, fair play to the strng start made by the top two but Burnley got 101 points and are now contributing to a "weaker" Prem so your point doesn't make sense. Lastly there is pretty much no correlation between "better Championship teams" and FA Cup performance. The last two finalists were Cardiff and Millwall. Dross Championship clubs who lucked out. So a Championship team can go I to the competition but at the same level of liklihood of the last 20 years. Not that likely.
  20. Tony Mowbray sacked as well. Blimey.
  21. Remember, he didn't mean Saints, that would be preposterous, calm down everyone. He meant the team one place and one point above them in the table. They might win it.
  22. As I was saying, Jesus wept.
  23. You think Norwich or Millwall are going to win it?
  24. We're due a win.
