I can clearly remember absolutely raging at one or two truly dreadful performances from him in his time with us, so agree with you there.

I think both manager and club have truly found their level with one another and I’m liking the stability it’s given us. I like Ralph (as much as one can for someone who’s served up two 9-0 defeats) and hope he stays and wins a trophy to leave a positive legacy.

Wouldn’t be too worried at a Norwich win (didn’t affect our game with Watford when they beat Everton). On the balance though, would prefer a morale deflating comeback draw for Brentford as we’d still stay above them.

Very happy with that! Most pleasing aspect is the general solidity of our defending. What’s that now, three clean sheets (Man City, West Ham and Watford)? Much easier to win games if you don’t ship them in at the other end!

Absolutely as he’d probably double his wages at a time when he’s still relatively unknown. The exact same thing happened with VVD, a whopping 6-year deal just a year after originally signing with us.

Not ideal but a point better for us than Burnley. 4 from 6 in our important run of games. Just a bloody shame Watford hit form before we play them.
