  1. We can recall them IF needed.
  2. It got me thinking today when I saw the fixture Sunderland v Norwich, as one of the first cup finals I remember watching back in 1985 (league cup final) great memories of being at my grandparents and with not a care in the world at the age of 10. 28 years ago. Now the first cup final I was aware of was Brighton v Man U in 1983, but I did not watch it at the age of 8 but remember my late father updating me with scores. Then of course I remember the fa cup semi final in 1984, again at my grandparents, and remember the final, but again did not watch much of it. The first cup final I watched all the way through involved the first fa cup sending off (Peter Reid) and finished a dull 0-0 only for Norman whiteside to famously smash a shot right in the bottom corner passed big nev. What are your first memories of cup finals?
  3. I think Sunderland will win this. It is also a game that brings back childhood memories as the first cup final (league cup) I can remember, 28 years ago this month. The first fa cup final I remember watching Man U v Everton, both 1985. First cup final I remember but not watching was Brighton v Man U 1983.
  4. Norwich in November. Due to break that one, but cannot see us getting anything today 1-3.
  5. Is it a sell out then? I am surprised as we are struggling a little, and the casual fans (of football teams in general) tend to stay away when struggling. Must be the fact it is Liverpool, and I suppose Chelsea will sell out as well. I wonder if west ham and WBA will?
  6. And some of their fans are twonks.... Well one is!
  7. I would love it to be this one..... Love it! Return of the stripes, hopefully not for a return to the championship.
  8. It is going to be red and white stripes!
  9. I will stick by what I have said all along, he is going to be a great player! Look at bale at Spurs, and Walcott at Arsenal. They have taken their time, but one is blinding now and Walcott looking much better.
  10. I like them, now they are a very long way behind us. Did not like them much when they were above us (top of the league) when we were in league 1. It did not last long though. The first time in my life that the skates, Brighton and Bouremouth have been above us. I do not mind Brighton either, just their manager is a twonk.
  11. When we playing?
  12. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21784836 Oh and he has Wigan to win, and villa and QPR to draw. Closing up at the bottom. I think we will lose 1-3
  13. Fantastic display of how to play football. Always a joy to watch Barca.
  14. Nice bit of cricket was that
  15. Very impressive
  16. Nice to be on a Saturday.... I am away anyway!
  17. I think we are playing Liverpool at a very bad time, as they are hitting a good run, and I have the feeling, that the comeback today by Chelsea might spark them into life. I am getting a little worried, as I see a couple of defeats coming up, and you would hope to win 1 of 2 at home! Then a trip to Reading!
  18. Not looking to good, but we always start rubbish, we like to go 1 down!
  19. There is a page in Private Eye, which are just 'begging letters' and they get money as well. Well they all have a cause. There are some rich people out there that just do not mind giving. Not many, but a few.
  20. None of your links work mate 120 views I have had and £55, thanks lads
  21. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21624631 Here they are, and for what it is worth, I think we will sneak it, or draw, and reading will beat Villa.
  22. As you know, I am trying to launch my own business, and I am trying to think of ways of gaining investment for advertising, and perhaps opening a shop, and a branch in Southampton. As well as this I am looking to invest in packaging and delivery nationwide, as well as continuing to buy equiptment and tweaking the website. I was thinking if everyone on here gave a donation of £1 - £5 I would go a long way to achieving my goals. Even though this may seem a little cheeky, would be a great way for the Saints web to sponsor a business. Please take a look at the website and the facebook page below. If you want to donate then please send to paypal simplycheesecake@hotmail.co.uk with your name or user name, and I will think of a way of rewarding, and putting the name somewhere within the business. I seriously want to make a go of this business, and open a shop in Southampton in the future. https://www.facebook.com/Cheesecakesim http://simcheesecake.weebly.com/index.html Cheers lads
