Keepers make mistakes all the time. It is when they make them every game it is a problem. Kelvins first mistake of note since his recall. Keep him in for the next game, he is doing a good job.

Played Sunderland at just the wrong time, a reading seem to have given them confidence, they went on and beat us and then Man City today and a 3rd clean sheet out of the last 4 games for them. Another team who seem to be tightening up, and building from the back.

Great point, and a game which either team could have won. First draw on the road, and as I have said before we are doing things the right way an tightening up at the back, which means things up front have dried up a bit. One more game and NA gets the chance to address this problem. Would love a 0-0 on Saturday, that would do nicely!

After the steep learning curve we had, we have tightened up, and are doing things the right way in building from the back. Seems like Reading have just started doing this as well.

I have been necking a little bit of rum today, I think we are going to get all 3 points from this game.

I love football, and I love Saints. We are 4th from bottom for Christmas, and I seem to remember us being in a worse position than this at this stage of the season a few times, and managed somehow to stay up. Those who say we have had easy games over the last few weeks are wrong. There are no easy games, and a lot of results do depend on the form of the team at the point of the season you play them. Football in general is fun, and pretty random at the best of times, and this is why I love the sport so much! Merry Christmas!

We might go down, we might stay up. This is all the fun of football back in the premier league and 90% of the seasons I have supported Saints we have been involved in a relegation dogfight with much worse squads, and survived. Just enjoy the ride!

Football is strange, I have come to the conclusion that there is no logic to results and a set of results. Win at Anfield lose 8-0 to Chelsea, we lose at Anfield, but beat villa easy.
