Do we have any players left in the squad from the Strachen era. Only one I can think of is Bart but not even sure about that. Is there anyone else?
-
Is this going to be the dawn of a much happier and chirpier Alpine - sorry mate couldnt resist - I actually enjoy your posts and have agreed with you on many occasions in the past

Bit harsh I wouldnt discredit anyone for not signing up to the forum for the past six months to a year. It did get very depressing with the same old story, arguments and threads continuously being debated. Lets look to the future now united as one fan base following and supporting the team that we love COYR's

Suprised Curbs or Coppell isnt on that list
-
Coppell for me - announcement tomorrow, would not suprise me if they already have their man secured and have been telling him to identify his targets.
-
Ohhhh Camara would be quality - he would destroy L1!

ALZHEIMER TEST .... in the interest of early detection.
ozzmeister replied to chrisobee's topic in The Muppet Show
Found all 3, unsuprisingly the N took about 5 seconds longer - all found in about 30 seconds though -
From these I would be happy with Lita, Bridges, Connerly and Duberry

well that was a productive comment.....

Thanks! Well as per my last thread: -Baird -Size -Hassan Yakin (Swiss attaching midfielder - not sure on sp though) -Beckford -Any good loans from decent Premierleague clubs
-
I would prefer Strachan or Coppell

Considering our new owners and therefore new found wealth I would like to propose a new HCDAJFU thread based on the fact that many of the anmes on the previosu one could now be relaced with slightly more optimistic targets rather than the bargain basement ones we had to look into previously. My initial ones would be: - Baird - Size - Beckford - One of the younf united/aresenal/chelsea strikers - Bale (i wish)

Apologies is the title is somewhat mis-leading but who thinks that following the takeover some players that wanted out will now stay and be part of the revolution. Players in my mind are people like Rasiak, Saga, BWP or Adam. They seemed to be pushing to leave when we were in the mire but now were not would you expect them to want to stay. This also begs the question would we want them, especially if their motives are not correct, i.e. not that they have the club to their hear (like our Kelvin) but are fueled by money and the guarantee that their already inflated wages will continue to be paid (and not cut which would have been likely had they moved on).

On a side think we could get BAird back now?
-
Hassan Yankin (sp) is a good expereinced Swiss attacking midfielder. Ageing a bit now but would be a good addition

I have sen you an IM

Newcastle (if you believe reports) can seem to wrap up a takeover in a matter of weeks and our continues to drag and drag and drag! Dont get me wrong I am in support of Fry and understand how hard his job is (being in that industry before myself) but the ongoing saga is begginning to get a bit annoying now! If it drags for much longer we are missing valuable prep time, potentially loosing good players who want to stay and possibily missing out on good players. Lets hope today is the day huh!

I would be a popular move from the Swiss (assuming its gthem who are the front runners) to appoint MLT as Chairman/Front Man to the new regime. However, would there have been a possibility that Matt was approached previously but he chose Pinnicle over the Swiss leaving a slight bitter taste in the Smiss mouths. I would expect someone from their company being Chairman, but we will see

With respect to managers moving to bigger clubs surely thats natural progression as eith any career. You cant tell me that should a bigger and better firm come in for you offering you a better job, with more wages etc you wouldnt take it - ******
