Reed and Wilson preached 'detail' and 'due dilligence' on recruiting players Hoedt - Not good enough for the PL Lemina - not good enough and not interested either. Elyounoussi - totally out of his depth Carrillo - Total farce of a buy, not needed and manager sacked just several weeks later. This adds up to a conservative say £60M (money which we simply cannot write off) and then add the wages that we're still paying on all these players. Those players are exactly what positions we're desperatley needing now and bought remember because players were sold. Wilson had nothing to do with VVD, who was already being watched in previous windows and down to Reed and Koeman's arrival i suspect. Wilson has luckily got out, just like Reed did (not sacked) but Scottish football is clearly a massive background step after PL

I guess Martyn Glover wil cover things in the short term. Ralph seems to do more regarding players than previous managers (good or bad idea ?) The job isnt very attractive because of the recent mess the failed players have accumulated. -
Players that were needed after others sold are now out on loan because theyre not good enough ! Total disaster A striker, two midfielders and a central defender that alone adds up to around £60 million and then on top of that i bet we're still paying 50% of their wages whilst on loan. So were now still playing the same failed players that are not good enough as reecent seasons have shown.

England to play Euro qualifier at St Mary's in September
SaintsLoyal replied to The Worm's topic in The Saints
I can remember him being at St Marys in 2002 for the Macedonia game, i think he was in the middle of the Kingsland stand about halfway up and he made a total spectacle of himself. He was wearing a portsmuff shirt then and numerous other fans started calling him out and in the end the stewards must of told him take the shirt off or we will chuck you out. He knew exactly what he was doing on Tuesday and 'tried it on' but got the correct response from stewards. Just like the idiot with the flag, rightly removed for childish provocative behaviour. -
Lack of service from midfield.

All the stuff in newspapers has been put there by Saints, all made up. Lemina only has the hump because he is being publically forced out the door.
-
The situation has been handled badly, to publically list players you want 'out' just sees no interest, until the final hours of play and not on the terms you want.
-
More than amazed that anyone has paid £200 sheets just for entry As i said to Toby Steele, we are not loaded down here and this shouldnt be happening.
-
Sad to hear that are longterm match day announcer died suddenly yesterday, i think he was 47yrs old.
-
I note the virgin media logo isnt on the amsterdam shirt either
-
When you make it known publically and even puyt fake news in the media ala 'Man United interested' you will not get the deal you want. Unless there has been severe issues and (i dont think there has been) both austin and lemina should of carried on training the same like Hoedt, Elyounoussi, Boufal etc
-
I think the stance of putting both Lemina and Austin publically out the door in such a way has decreaed their value and we will take anything.

Umbro ! they have made the best looking kits since making a brand relaunch. But the problem is will give us the most money and UA have near on been doubling what we had on adidas before. UA has been the worst selling kit and training gear EVER in the Saints shops due to ridiculous pricing.
-
Just find out why the retail manager has flown all the way to UA stateside to sort out the kit debacle.

Charlie makes a good point and whilst the calibre of player was higher when Koeman was manager, its said his brother got the players organized so well against each opposition.
-
Umm a bit disappointing as he seemed to be his wing man with his success in germany and i dont have that much faith in two goalkeeping coaches.

Listed here at the beginning of the month as Ralphs assistant https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2019-07-01/southampton-football-structure-update-july-2019

I noted Austin was a 'cocky bastard' early doors and this increased further when he was caught out ****ging pub tarts.
-
Evidently he left because he had peaked here within two seasons and with players wanting to leave, it was only going to go backwards.
