Wow, nearly 2! This is not how my nightmares of this game had been going the last two nights, c’mon boys!!

Obviously the worry is, a performance like tonight and we won’t be back in second, because we’ll be getting beaten by West Brom and staring down the barrel of 5pts behind with a game in hand by 2pm Saturday.

The hardest thing about these sort of performances leading to potentially not going up is knowing we’ll lose KWP and Harwood-Bellis and we’ll just slowly become stale over years like half of the championship currently are.

The more this game moves on, the less we look like scoring, more so Bristol City getting a second. Feels like the week our play off spot will be sealed, having to go away to West Brom. 5 a drift by the weekend? That would be quite the demoralising turnaround. I hope I’m wrong.

Not worth bothering for a replay to add another fixture to the congestion, then if you eventually get through, another fixture to get humped by Liverpool, pointless now when we’ve got promotion to protect our players for. Feel sorry for Maidstone, at one point in that draw, they had an 4/5 chance to draw a PL team.

Even if we hold on to 1-1, i’ll begrudge the #18 unbeaten post that’ll drop. 2 points lost on Leeds and Ipswich if scores stay as they are.

Considering we took our three most likely candidates to make something happen up front, we’ll have to settle for a depressing draw unless we find some unlikely attacking inspiration. Shows that we cannot keep up with the automatic promotion chasers, if we stay on 17pts, already 11 behind. Cannot be dropping points at home to 23rd place, that’s criminal.

Honestly thought we’d take a chunk out our goal difference and net 5 or 6 considering we had 5 shots on target after 15mins, 1-0 up and a goal chalked off. 85% possession, at home and all the shots in the world and it’s still only 1 🥲

I assume the board will just let this continue and we’re just to have to accept being gaslit for a good while longer when we can all see how bad it is, definitely until it’s too late for our promotion chances, but leave us just enough time to scrape away from relegation if it really REALLY goes to shit and then make a change. Or maybe they’re content and happy to just survive in the Championship this year and will accept mid-table as a finishing position and we’ll have Martin forevermore this season - Imagine. I can’t see how we have a better chance than this season to go back up, surely promotion will only get harder as the years pass by. So depressing, I thought we really had a good chance to fight for a chance of some sort of promotion challenge, can guarantee I’ll be checking out of this season if we’re going to languish below mid-table with Martin over the coming months, I hope the board have more ambition than that.

I’ve got £50 on Martin telling us that we played well, should have been 5-0 up before they scored, unlucky to concede the penalty, but he’s proud with the effort the lads put it, never gave up and we’ll be alright if we keep playing like this. Its a broken record, yet almost touching the relegation zone 🤡 Leeds fans must be and will be laughing at us now and next week after we were only just laughing at them a few weeks ago, when they were sitting near the bottom on 2pts, patting ourselves on the back, telling ourselves that we were glad we weren’t in such the mess as Leeds were!

You can only laugh now, beaten by the bottom team, no win in 7. We’re a laughing stock, utterly depressing watching us!
