  1. It’s all well and good lining up defensively when needed. But Brentford are part of these bunch of teams that we have a chance of taking points off of. God help us if we get nothing from these types of games. He’ll be the first manager to get the boot if he’s insistent on not changing his style or personnel because he doesn’t want to hurt his ego. Looking ahead at the fixtures, we could easily be in real danger of not being beyond or on 5pts after 9 games played if we see the same dross today as we seen against Nottm Forest and pick up nothing.
  2. Look, we know it wouldn’t happen because Stephens somehow is guaranteed a starting spot. SHOULD be; KWP-ABK-Beds-THB-Suga WILL be as it has been last two games.
  3. ABK-THB-Bednarek That would be a solid back 3.
  4. Can we try and sucker someone to part with cash for Sulemana too please? 🙏🏻 Could do with some funds towards a meaningful winger. Lucky to get half of what we paid.
  5. I know we've brought in Taylor for the left. I'm surprised how quiet news over Alfie Doughty has been this window, thought he'd have been back in an EPL side already. Could have given us great attacking strength with both full backs and a set piece option.
  6. Make it finally happen. Far from clinical. Time to end the saga and focus on life without him and his replacement.
  7. The FM24 wonderkid, always turned great in my saves 🤣🤣
  8. Maybe we will get Ramsdale after all, recurring theme with our goalkeepers and near posts 🤣🤦🏼‍♂️
  9. It’s meant to be, well out of favour at Arsenal, get him in!!
  10. Does that mean Leeds are out of the picture now? 😜🤣🤣
  11. We we’re 1-0 down, 2-1 up at HT. Massive brawl on the touchline and Stephens got sent off, we lost 3-2 with an 80th min winner, I don’t know why I remember it in so much detail. Still too vivid, glad I woke up and it was just a dream 🤣 COYR!
  12. Well thought out and well worded post. The playoff’s are emotionally draining, for players, staff and fans alike. I for one can admit I am massively nervous. The Premier League is where we want to be, it’s not where we’ll get regular success on the pitch, at least in the short term, but it is where we need to be if SR are to continue their “vision”. Mentally, I can accept defeat, but I’m not looking forward at to the dejection if we are on the wrong side of the result on Sunday. It’ll be hard straight away to see the positives from staying in the Championship for another season, undoubtedly seeing some quality players leave, but the hope lies that we might still be able to put together a quality team to challenge again next season. Possibly a better chance of promotion considering the standard of teams returning from the EPL?
  13. Norwich looking poor Vs. Birmingham and everyone hoping we play WBA? Personally think WBA are by far the tougher test. Edit: Probably won’t matter now Brum 1-0.
  14. Suicide-ball, all our quick passing around at the back, it’s been difficult to watch all season, looks good when it works, but one small mistake or mis-touch and you’re punished heavily and we have been, or have been close to having been punished many times this season.
  15. Leeds in as bad a form as they have been since the first games of the season. It wouldn’t at all surprise me if Leeds and Southampton both went on to lose their play-off semi’s, the ultimate irony.
  16. Ipswich will do Huddersfield at home, they’ll just need a point Vs. Cov. If they beat Coventry however, their automatic promotion is inevitable. Bonus if we get Norwich in the play-offs too. WBA could do us a favour and take out Leeds 👀👀
  17. Best we can hope for; Norwich play-off semi-final Not Leeds in the final 👀 If they miss out on automatics we’re never beating them on our current form.
  18. Every other team lately have been stalling Leicester, taking points off them for quite a while. We turn up, 4th place in a must win game and for 20mins can’t even get in their half. It’s typical Southampton, can’t compete when it matters. The play-offs are going to be such an anti-climax, inevitable semi-final loss to WBA.
  19. Those days are in the past. I reckon we’ll still attract promotion-capable players, but we will lose many influential players this summer if we do not got up, it will only get more difficult the longer we are in this league.
  20. That’s the Leeds who are already promoted automatically btw 🤣
  21. If we were to win our two and Leicester somehow lost to Hull, 5pts could separate 1st and 4th. It would still be a massive task, undoubtedly considering our form, but I’m trying to be optimistic - Hull, West Brom and Leeds would really be toughest three you could get within in the Playoffs.
  22. Just theoretically, what happens when we don’t get promoted, does he stay? It’s going to be just as tough/tougher next year against Sheff Utd, Burnley and Luton and we’ll be severely weakened unless we shrewdly buy some quality. Missing out on the obligation to buy THB is hard to take imo.
  23. Need goals, takes off a striker. No meaningful game until May now, that’s us well and truly play-off bound. What a let down two weeks make. Let’s hope we look better by then.
  24. Aribo, he’s like a new man!!
  25. Wallace with so much space, losing Stephens constantly on this right. I hope we aren’t going to pay dear in the second half if it continues to happen 😩
