  1. i would have... -------------davis -----cork----perry----skacel james-wotton-schneider-surman -----------lallana----------- ------euell------bwp---- sh1t or bust imo.
  2. when i spoke to him a few weeks back he said that he was about 4 weeks away from playing again. will he make a difference going forward as we seem to have trouble in that department. personally i cant wait for him to return as we have far too many balls going backwards and sidewards when we should be hurting teams with forward, defence splitting runs. anybody got any updates on his progress?
  3. i think you are right,i hate sitting low in the stadium as you cant see fvck all,i prefer to sit nearer the back, higher up,as you can see the game unfold and with it all of the balls that should be made, perhaps jp should be doing this,or perhaps lowe should be given a walkie talkie.
  4. tbh i thought we would have been this seasons surprise package as we were an unknown quantity perhaps scraping the play offs,it hasnt worked out that way but i am still confident of a mid table finish.
  5. i am enjoying watching the football at the moment, but the final ball is absolute garbage. i am fed up of watching my team playing well and ending up with nothing.
  6. we never look likely to score anymore imo. i would liken our performance(s) to an impotant man who is very good with his tongue and fingers...............all buildup no final shot. what we need is a viagara tablet in the form of a decent striker. any idea who that viagra tablet could be?
  7. 40+ years of supporting the red and white drives me on.
  8. i would have to say burley just because he got us to the play offs but apart from that he was sh1te.the rest are a load of old sh1te imo, perhaps redknapp could have been a great manager if he was allowed to do his job.
  9. our home form is getting silly, the music on the other hand wasnt too bad today so i might get rupes (or mc ducky boy as hes known to his mates) to dj at my next birthday.
  10. it seems that we should have won that game by 3 maybe 4,so why didnt we? i think that for some unknown reason the buildup to an attack is over engineered by the players,i cant work out if they are scared to shoot and pass the ball to somebody else,if they are looking to always score a spectacular goal with great buildup play or they run out of ideas in front of goal and forget about shooting? we did play some nice neat stuff today but somebody has to take the game by the balls in front of goal and bang a few in.we should be turning teams inside out and punishing them for being crap, but instead the opposing teams punish us for dithering in front of goal.
  11. this is starting to get very silly.
  12. sequel's are always sh1te. but this will be the trailer for it. (in a deep african/american voice)..... IT WAS A TIME OF WAR,IT WAS A TIME OF UPHEAVAL,IT WAS A TIME OF DARKNESS...... BUT OUT OF THE SHADOWS OF DESTRUCTION CAME A HERO,A MAN WHO WOULD BRING LIGHT TO THE WORLD AND DRIVE THE DARK BRINGERS BACK TO THE DEPTHS OF HELL....................THAT MAN WAS LOWE, THE DESTROYER OF DARKNESS,A DUCKHUNTER WHO WAS BORN TO BE KING. coming to a football club near you.
  13. too true, one of the reasons i used west quay tbh. it would have normally taken about 2 minutes but the instructions they had from the ticket office didnt tally up with the normal procedure, they got confused by the '2 tickets per season ticket' thing.
  14. i was there over an hour today getting 8 tickets....... they dont know what they're doing...they dont know what they're doing i dont know what it was like down the stadium but it has to be quicker.
  15. as reported in the papers today...... he might be looking for a move and he obviously likes the red and the white, perhaps he might have the wrong red and white? and despite what most people think,he still is friendly with lowe. fingers crossed.
  16. i hate to say it but lowe is right, all of the power lies with the players,i dont know if they want to go or not but if they do there is little the club can do to keep them.contracts aint worth a w@nk,and we cant afford to let wayward players rot in the reserves....not even the prem big boys can afford to do that. perhaps lowe does have to sell but the power still lies with the player,if they dont want to go then they wont, but the likes of surman (southampton through and through) will probably be told that they will be doing the club a good service financially if they do go.
  17. bit of a pretend hard man, likes to sign sh1te players for stupid money and i cant forgive him for taunting the fans when manu sent us down............but he must have something about him to have achieved what he did with sunderland,so if push came to shove i wouldnt mind giving him a go.
  18. i agree, nobody in the fanbase really likes any of them, nobody really wants any of them but they are here and we seem to be stuck with them for now. im not a fan of crouch but i liked what he said about giving his shares away to the right person, this is what all of them should be doing,i would like all of them to publicly state that this is what they will do if the right person comes along........but what or who is the right person? is the right person the man who will also make sure that crouch gets a plum job in return for his shares?.......this is the bit that worries me. nobody in their right mind just gives thousands of pounds of shares away without wanting something in return, remember crouch paid a silly over inflated price for his,he may be rich but he didnt get rich by giving money away. i wish they would all fvck off today but who will fill the void?,you cannot just wish them away and not have a plan in place hoping that things will run smoothly, there has to be a handover period.this is of course if you can find somebody who wants the gig in the first place. im sick to death of the lot of them and the whole thing is becoming very tedious and predictable...............we are never going to go anywhere whilst the majority of the shares are distributed between 3 main players who hate each other.crouch dislikes lowe, lowe dislikes crouch, croouch dislikes wilde and his marriage of convenience to lowe, lowe dislikes everybody.............what they all should be liking is SFC and disliking the state we are in and to show this they should all pull together to get us out of this mess and consequently safeguard their investments and make us more attractive to any possible investors. but im afraid this is never going to happen whilst they are not willing to work together.
  19. he failed to attract any finance,he failed to prevent lowe returning,he failed to appoint a decent manager when he had the chance (although this is personal opinion). its nothing personal about crouch,i just dont think he was strong enough for the position,he was weak. fans should never hold high positions at a football club, the decisions they make are not always in the best interests of the club and this is why i was never a fan of the saints trust, letting a fan have a say in the running of the club is suicide imo.
  20. just where in any of my posts does it say that i support lowe in anyway? all i want is stability for my club, unlike yourself who cannot see past your hatred for lowe. even if lowe were to inject £50 mil of his own money, the club was debt free and in the prem and challenging for the champions league, your hatred for lowe would consume your every waking minute................and this behaviour would be looked upon as obsessive. i on the other hand have a realistic outlook, lowe, wilde, crouch have all done a bad job imo, none of them are the right men for the job but we have got what we have got and we have to make the best of a bad situation. what we dont need is the constant back stabbing between the 3 of them, the constant point scoring.all of them are unpopular in their own ways and whoever is the top dog will have just as many enemies in the fanbase as the others. if i had a say in the sad situation then i would do away with the lot of them and find somebody who would do a good job with the resources at hand, but i dont have a say and i doubt that a lot would change whoever was top dog. i am a realist that realises that we dont have a lot of money,we are in serious debt and we have a bunch of shareholders who will never get on.they have all had a crack at the job and have failed.what we dont need now is another round of musical chairs, not with these three anyway........but as nobody is beating the doors of st marys down,i am happy for lowe to continue until something better comes along.this doesnt make me a lowe luvvie. by the way the picture doesnt look anything like me,im more scarier than that.
  21. just what we need...more mud slinging and *****iness mixed with a generous helping of 'what ifs'. me thinks crouch would have been better off keeping silent, for the sake of his beloved club and himself. next he will be mounting a serious challenge to retake the club from lowe, perhaps the st marys entrance should be a rotating one.
  22. whatever the outcome of the game, the fact is we are going to be better off with it, so lets all pull in the right direction, put all of the petty squabbling behind us (including me) and get behind the team for what should be a great and exciting game played in front of a full house(hopefully),something we have not experienced for a long time. hopefully some people will once again reignite their passion for watching the saints and come to a few more league games.
  23. am i right in saying that a 17k crowd is the break even point? if so then putting it like that, the manu game will have seen us break even for the first 10 games more or less............all we need is another couple of 'manu type' games and we are financially stable:-)
  24. but wouldnt beating manu at home and then drawing say arsenal away for the next round bring in more money than drawing at home with manu and then getting beat at their place?
