any streams?

Could this simply be that the senior players want to play tika-taka football as they believe: with time they will get proficient with it then they can get a move to a bigger club You could argue there is a transition point before the exodus where Saints will benefit, but ultimately the main concern is the players own bank accounts.

Woody is ok, over emotional response at a time of high stress. Nothing to answer for.

All the players that were at Southampton under Martin's last attempt should be on the outbound shipping inventory anyhow, they are not good enough for anything other than bottom of the premier league, we should have ambitions beyond that. I would like to see Marcelo Bielsa come in, a known task master whose Leeds players said his training was mentally and physically exhausting. A PTI from the Paras would do us some good as well, regardless of who we appoint.

Neil Warnock, you know it makes sense

This idea that the formation and tactics are being forced on Will Still has me inquisitive. It’s true that Will Stills footballing philosophy and preferred tactics have not been on display at Saints, ie: A back four rather than five defenders • More aggressive, possession-based football • Systems that emphasized quick transitions and pressing So is this formation a result of data crunchers looking for formations that could optimise financial return as opposed to footballing return?

The major give away it’s a coaching problem are the issues are getting worse, the only shining lights are those players yet to be infected, the coaches are having zero positive effect on any player, tactic, pattern of play, system or fitness. We are still playing walking football, the number of times we played so slowly out the back PNE had ten behind the ball at all times. Manning pulled off a cross that was a decent assist against Wrexham but has totally forgotten he got behind and turned their defence, that’s why it was a successful cross. He’s been hoofing the ball for goal kicks ever since. We still have about 8 players who are picked regularly who are not good enough at this level, those talented players we sold in the last 2/3 seasons were carrying these, now they are gone, nobody left to do the lifting.

Backroom staff, the reason for his previous success and current failure

If we had signed Keiffer Moore it would only take our coaches a couple months to get firing like Damion Downs
-
As we are very much a one man team, maybe ´oh when Scienza, goes marching in’ is fitting?
-
Everyone is aware that even Mad Nate would consider Saints a step down too far?
-
It doesn’t matter who we bring in, the implementation of tactics and patterns of play are not being communicated from manager to player. The intermediary in these comms are the coaches and that’s where the problem lies.
-
Cut the cable, don’t pay hard earned money for free stuff
-
Are we too much of a step down for the 2nd coming of Mad Nate? Anyhow IMHO we need to let Will Still continue to complete the job, we need to sign ‘walk into starting XI’ replacements for: McCarthy, THB, Stephens, Manning, Wellington, Downes, Downs, Archer & Armstrong. When Will Still has offloaded all the above detritus plus the others that are surplus to requirements then I will judge him. Currently he’s playing with garbage collected by previous managers.

Or, we could be simply overpaying crap players.
-
But if you are good enough to join Bournemouth you are not joining Saints
-
Joe Aribo as a striker, alongside AA. Give Archer and Downs the rest of the season off and cancel their contracts
-
start fining players for backward passes, simples

But we would have only coached all the talent out of him, it's the Saints Way. Buy a player and make them worse, sell them at a discount for them to improve under professional coaching at their new home.
