He was slightly edgier, as I recall. Not THE EDGE material, but closer to the limits.

No, I didn't know he did one. Used to get a kick out of selecting Funky Moped on the pub jukebox, to p!ss off my Yamaha FS1E riding mate, though.

FWIW, I agree, and I'm old enough to have heard it first time round. Their earliest stuff has truly dated, and the songs they composed for their first album were rather mediocre to poor. But there was little else at the time, that captured the excitement. Another FWIW, I've never seen the worth in The Rolling Stones. Horses for courses, I suppose.

Luckily caught the 8 part radio programme series of Amadeus on Radio 7, just the other day. It started last monday week and finishes tomorrow [Wed 2nd June]. Being read by F. Murray Abraham, who is the Oscar winning actor who played Salieri, in the film version. He reads it beautifully too. I just did a whole batch of Listen[ing] Again, and I'm upto speed. Good job I recorded it at the same time, because within minutes I was sawing wood. Never been able to stay awake until the end of a story.

Here hamster. Someone popped this in my e-mail tray today. http://www.beatlestube.net/the-beatles-albums/sgt-peppers-lonely-hearts-club-band/ Te Beatlestube also contains every song the Beatles recorded. Not the very best quality, but the videos should be interesting.

It has been my opinion for many years that Israel should show the very compassion and understanding for the Palestinians, that they were pleading for during WWII, when they were shown absolutely none by the Nazi Germans. If Israel want the continued support of the European West, and to make peace with the Middle east, they have got to compromise. The USA's attitude to this remains an absolute mystery to me. But then again, USA policy is always something for the USA.

Wasn't that a kick in the teeth..? There were those of us who saw a change in attitude and application, and whilst the stats weren't making a remarkable change, in the short time, that idiot poster ran roughshod over whatever progress was being made. And some people were diverted. Nigel Pearson's legacy is there for all to see, at Leicester City. Bloody well done to him too. However, maybe we wouldn't have had Markus, Nicola and Alan, if Nigel had been allowed to keep us gasping along in the Championship pool. We'll never know. Would I go back..? Not with this club's ambition. Not now.

What about Saint-Scooby, or was it Scooby-Saint..? Posts littered with references to the flatcaps and Lord Lowe. I almost miss them. Not quite though. Do you know, he asked me to provide him with that avatar of Rupert, because 1] he couldn't do it himself, and 2] he thought I would be the only one who wouldn't tell him to p*** off. I remember trying to reason with him, and then Minty, the fair minded bloke he is, tried and got nowhere as well. Those were the days.

That's done for me. I'm off..!

What's with Nov 11th anyway..? It's Rememberence Day. A day when we remember those fallen and learn.
-
You could say that. I couldn't possibly comment.

I quite like the idea of the direct association, for example Rex, remaining invisble, then the next one, for example monarch, being shown. Does that make sense..? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Repercussion
-
Oh christ, I wish I hadn't read that.
-
monarch [yeah, I skipped one]
