Incredible as it may seem, but not every person in jolly old Blighty thought that Margaret Thatcher was God's gift to 10 Downing Street. Some people's lives have been so blighted that they have never quite recovered from her time in Govt. For those people, I'd expect a few champagne corks might indeed pop at her passing, if they could spare the cash. It wouldn't make them vile individuals either.

They really haven't fannied about with it, or been cautious. It at once looks retro and modern. Good looking kit. We'll see how good it really looks though, in action in the coming season.

Exactly what I picked up on. We can all remember the cheap football that you had for just mucking about with. It used to bend the wrong way, and change direction in mid-air. It was pathetic, and it usually cost about 99p. Fine for playing on a beach, but nowhere else. Anyone who wanted to play a good game of football, left them well alone. If this football has similar characteristics, then a lot of skill is to go unnoticed in this World Cup.

That's just another facet, of being a Saints fan, coming out in you, Stu. I think we can reasonably expect to expect to win the league. The owner expects it, the chairman expects it. No doubt, Pardew will know it is expected of him. He'll go for a fall back position of coming second in the league. But winning it will be the expectation. So why shouldn't we expect it..?
