Totally agree, and if what Shane is saying is true, then I think it is disgusting. However, I expect it isn't true. There are very good reasons for women not being directly involved with the front line to be honest, and it isn't about the woman's performance, but of the men they are among. It becomes harder to focus on a job in hand when you can see/hear/smell a split arse in the local area. Couple this with a split arse in pain and men do not act in the same way as they would if a fellow male soldier was downed. That said, they need to empty their sacks in something.
